I KNEW the silver hair would look really cool with a gray outfit! Love it! He absolutely couldn't look better than those concert photos. Perfection!
I'm not going to comment on the Idol thing because I get a stomach ache when I even think about it. And I guess that was actually commenting on it - ;D ;D ;D.

Could it be that it is a done deal, Sept schedue has already been filled, but he is not allowed to say anything about it, so he lied. Just like the Queenbert gig, he lied at least once. That's definitely one side of the coin. Either he has it, and the schedule is being kept under wraps or he doesn't have it and simply doesn't have any promotion lined up for this fall. I will be so glad when AI is announced and all the spec is over. I am sure that his calendar has been filled for Sept because in the twitter party though he said there was "lost in translation" he confirmed that he had some "stuff" to do in Septemeber. Now the question is what that "stuff" is. Could it be Idol, or is it something else? I believe that "stuff" is something which can help promote his new single, otherwise there is no reason for the 3rd single to be released NOW. |

Wow! I guess I'm Ms. Opposite. I thought the review was pretty complimentary. To me curvy = dancing style (because he is very curvy then), castrato = can sing really high out of the usual male range with great power. Just think of "Dragon Attack" where he does that fabulous runway model strut (feet cross over each other in the front). I might call it slinky (silly) not curvy, but what the heck! To the reviewer, Adam was a bit of a mismatch for Queen but rapturous. To me that meant it wasn't what the reviewer had in mind, but loved it. And how about "built-in auto-tune?" However, he wasn't wearing a boa. :( Skylar, Kate (author) is probably okay with not having Adam's balls :D :D--but I could be wrong. OK. Ovaries. And "Castrato" is a serious stereotyping insult but far worse than that it lacks true wit and imagination. Aaaaany way. Imma let it go. She's not worth it. Sorry, I'm not aware of castrato being tossed out as "gay" insult (I guess that's what you mean). Maybe because I'm a classical musician, my mind goes right to the voice-type that was produced by castration. That voice would not have gone as low as Adam's but could be very powerful (so they say) in the high woman's range. He definitely has that quality. I guess I live a sheltered life in some ways. I didn't even know what LGBT meant before Adam. :-/ But I've always be pro-marriage equality and like many people here have friends and family members who are gay--no problems. This forum is one way we learn about others, yes?  |

Asked about AI Judge. ".........havent heard anything yet...think you guys will know when I know.... I almost believed him, this time, he sounded very convincing... But then he said he knew nothing about John Travolta and I just thought what a pretty, gorgeous, shady little liar he can be when he wants to. Why would he have heard yesterday's Travolta crap? He was a very busy boy all day! |

I've mostly stayed out of the Idol discussions but I am starting to worry about some of ya. AI started as a rumor, and sure, it has a few signs that could support it--but that's all. I think it would be more appropriate to be pleasantly surprised if Adam lands a gig that big than to be crushed if he doesn't get what we don't even know he was considered for. I am worried about the fandom's reaction when so many seem to have their hearts set that this is the answer to what we've all been fighting for for so long--and the only hope.

Just listened to the Kyle & Jackie O interview. It didn't sound to me like he had even been approached about Idol (unlike NJ who was "in talks" lol). He said basically the same things he said before. So, bottom line - who knows? I'm just not as optimistic as I once was.
Does anyone know when this interview happened? If it isn't current that could explain it.
And now my stomach hurts.

I will listen more carefully next time. Or not mention Travolta if I'm not familiar with his most recent shenanigans. |
