If the Idol thing falls through, I'm sure RCA and DMG have a plan B. They aren't that stupid to be unprepared!

Both of Adam's TRES singles got moderate radio support: BTIKM peaked at #18 on Adult Pop Radio (basically HAC) NCOE peaked at #35 on Adult Pop Radio (basically HAC) The good news is that radio stations are willing to play his music -- they just need something the audience wants to hear. (With PeopleMeters, they no longer need to guess). I should not have said that radio didn't play the first two singles when obviously they did though AI never was strong enough to push sales. I will be somewhat hopeful if the single turns out to be Trespassing because it did the best of the tracks on itunes when T was released if I am remembering right. I think it is unique with a very cool vibe so hopefully it will do well. |

I have never followed the career of a musician before and I am very surprised I am doing so now, so I am ignorant about the music business. How would a more knowledgeable poster rate the promo on the first two singles? |

I thought I remember reading on some Adam fansite that some radio station in a European country was playing Trespassing instead of NCOE. Then someone asked the station why, and they said they liked Trespassing better. I wish I remembered what country that was. |

I listened to FYE today, for the first time, in along time! Man, that is one great album! It was so great to hear Fever and VooDoo! Adam can be very proud of both albums! I think he is very proud and I hope we have more Adam's albums in the future.... I love his albums and I wish more people love them to... Adam's voice truly can heal broken souls , broken hearts and more.... And his energy his happiness his personality is something I have never experience and see before.... The whole Adam fascination, excitement, craziness is the bless from the sky... and I feel sorry for people who don't want to know him. Thank you guys for everything. Whether you like her vocals is a whole different story. Mariah is Mariah, there is no other way to put it. But monster she is certainly not - difficult, yes. OH dear, IMHO, that video spells one season of Idol for Mariah.. LOL I'm exhausted! |
