I almost believed him, this time, he sounded very convincing... But then he said he knew nothing about John Travolta and I just thought what a pretty, gorgeous, shady little liar he can be when he wants to. Why would he have heard yesterday's Travolta crap? He was a very busy boy all day! I haven't heard it too. lol. And I agree with you , he was very busy. |

For those who are interested, the first episode of season 2 of Husbands is up, featuring a very funny cameo by Joss Whedon. The theme of this one reminds me very much of things Adam has said about attitudes toward gay men. And you'll certainly see a similarity to Adam's experience in regard to a picture being shown on TV!

Funny how we all interpret these things differently. I found the Classic Rock mag review to be a positive and honest review, in that it was done by a non-Glambert, and gave equal attention to all parts of the show. I took the “curves and castrato” to refer to his VOICE as compared to freddie’s voice…sinuous and able to hit the high notes...which the author notes that Freddie always couldn’t do. I didn’t realize that this term was supposed to be an insult. I’m not sure how many readers will either.
The review was done by someone who doesn’t think Adam’s vocal style is quite the right match for Queen (thinks he’s too perfect, and obviously doesn’t LIKE perfect), but nonetheless thought it was a very, very good show.
Well, that was my impression anyway.

Just an FYI for everyone - we are going to try to trend Adam4idol tomorrow at 3pm Eastern. I'll try to keep you posted. Please help if you are on twitter and feel like it.
We're thinking that it can't hurt, and it might actually help if what Joe Jonas said about Nick is true, and Idol is still deciding on the judges as we speak. Could be that they are deciding b/w Adam and Nick and/or other people, and all we can do is help show that Adam has media and social media impact.
Ofc, this whole theory might be totally off base and I might be totally crazy, but, again, trending can't hurt.

Just wanted to take a moment and thank Drakius once again for making the Queen/Kiev concert footage available to us on DVD. I sat down to watch it over the weekend and just got lost once again in the wonderfulness of that TV stream. I am very happy that Adam is out promoting Tresspassing but was ready to hear Queen again too. THANK YOU Drakius for your fabulous gift!! I've marked by favorites and now sit down to watch on my big screen when I need an "I Want It All" fix (to name one of many).

Just listened to the Kyle & Jackie O interview. It didn't sound to me like he had even been approached about Idol (unlike NJ who was "in talks" lol). He said basically the same things he said before. So, bottom line - who knows? I'm just not as optimistic as I once was. Does anyone know when this interview happened? If it isn't current that could explain it. And now my stomach hurts. It was very recent because of the gossip news they were discussing. |

I've mostly stayed out of the Idol discussions but I am starting to worry about some of ya. AI started as a rumor, and sure, it has a few signs that could support it--but that's all. I think it would be more appropriate to be pleasantly surprised if Adam lands a gig that big than to be crushed if he doesn't get what we don't even know he was considered for. I am worried about the fandom's reaction when so many seem to have their hearts set that this is the answer to what we've all been fighting for for so long--and the only hope. Kay - Lol. You are just starting to worry about us now. I've been side-eyeing myself for 3 1/2 years now. I won't be crushed if Idol doesn't happen. It's just to speculate.  |
