Hey, everyone is entitled to your opinion about the trending thing, which is precisely why I said "if you feel like it" in my first post.
I just wanted to bring this over here in case *some* people would like to help, but they are not plugged into the right communities on twitter and so they haven't heard about this. It might not even happen, we'll see, it's not that easy to organize.
That being said, it is hilarious to me that people think trending stuff can actually be a *bad* thing. We're not talking about harassing specific people on twitter (which, I completely agree, is many/most times not a good idea). But twitter trending is just a way to make a name visible. I'm very much of the principle that at this point whatever can help get Adam's name out there is good. But whatever.

Alessandra Torresani @bambolabambina Thanks Doll! Kisses and Loves RT @adamlambert: Congrats @gocheeksgo and @bambolabambina! ---------------------------------------------- Brian May com @brianmaycom @argeneau twitpic.com/ajowil - Great Review in Classic Rock - #Queen+AL, Hammersmith by Kate Mossman, critic and Queen devotee.--------------------------------------------------- Wow. I have been a long time Queen fan. I really thought Brian May was an evolved human. Count me out of his cool club. Curves, castrato perfection, pop voice that sounds like a built in auto-tune, young worker bee. She's making Adam out to be slickly perfect (product of the machine). Where as Brian and Roger are perfect in their unique, beautiful, nuanced imperfection, the mark of true artists. That is just bullshit. Servants of the status quo, playing it safe, lacking the courage to break down the fucking walls! Do you not see what you are doing? On that note: My favorite Bullshit lecturer. Sometimes I just think Adam got lured into a trap with Queen. They are like a venus fly trap for lead singers...Predetermined that no one can live up. But here's some sugar. Come on in. Triangulation. And all the singers end up tarnished by the experience. Instead of flourishing for who they are. Instead of truly being set free. They are instead under the harshest judgement. All that can be felt is "Not Freddie." It truly is a human dynamics trap. Adam is worth more.

WOW You are entitled to your opinion of course but mine is that Queen is nothing but a total win for Adam. He has way more credibility and visibility in the eyes of the industry and the press. I don't think we have begun to see what this will harvest in the future. Won't respond to the rest at this time.

I agree that it was nothing but a win for Adam as far as the Queen experience. Out of every lead singer that has guested with them he has by far received the most praise. Plus the experience is priceless. I think people may be reading too much into a review that was for the most part praising. I think you may be giving the writer too much credit.

I deleted the Kris photo and most of the associated comments.[/color]
Although I appreciate the potential humor involved, I do not want to get into Adam vs. Kris comparisons. It just pushes the discussion into a negative space. We have too much good stuff in the wind to go back to 2009.

I am sure that a few good comments fell by the wayside but there were too many quotes of that photo and too may comments relied on it to go thru and edit each one.

I see nothing but a huge win for Adam - given the quality of his performances... I can't comment on the result of other collabs (neither do I care about them). I also agree that we will see the results in the future: offers might be generated as a result of the exposure to people in the industry that were present at the concerts or were not there but paid attention anyway; Queen fans learning about Adam and many loving/liking him are a net plus (those who did not like Adam were predisposed to do so and most probably stayed away)... ( and as a plus we got Talon coming here with all his educational gifts).. and on and on and on...

If trending was such a bad thing, I doubt Nick Jonas would have tried so hard to get his fans on board a couple of weeks ago. lol And as far as the Biebs trending, well, it's hard to argue with success.

Personally, I'd like to see something about radio play (or lack thereof) trend....
