I deleted the Kris photo and most of the associated comments. Although I appreciate the potential humor involved, I do not want to get into Adam vs. Kris comparisons. It just pushes the discussion into a negative space. We have too much good stuff in the wind to go back to 2009. *** I am sure that a few good comments fell by the wayside but there were too many quotes of that photo and too may comments relied on it to go thru and edit each one.
Thanks for letting me know, Q3. I guess I shouldn't use it as my next avi, huh?

What changed? 1) radio 2) A couple of years ago, being a judge probably didn't seem like a likely possibility. This time he was actually approached. I agree about radio, but Adam keeps saying that Idol hasn't contacted him..?? I think what changed is that Adam has released two albums, has a bit hit and has established himself as a recording artist and a professional performer beyond Idol. And actually, Adam doesn't keep saying anything about Idol. He only mentions it when asked. And then has been mostly vague. >> But the turning point for me was The End interview 7.20.12 when Adam set it could happen -- we are all still speculating. at 5:00. www.youtube.com/watch?v=DbpSZ5ZYtyI No reason for him to keep the rumor alive if there was no possibility. He got tweeted little 100's of questions about Idol at that Twitter party and responded to one that did not mention Idol just the September job reference. Almost no one on the Idol prospective judges list is talking -- only sources close to.... -- the exceptions are Alanis Morrisette and Nick Jonas, and people who said NO or were not talked to. Brad Paisley has said nothing. Pharrell has said nothing. The fact that Adam has said nothing leave me to believe it is possible.

I get rarely all pervy about Adam; I just like to watch the beauty and the fashion choices. But boy how I like the way he fills those jeans in this picture! A new favorite pic for me! ETA: And I wasn't talking about GB, but the legs!!!

Wow. I have been a long time Queen fan. I really thought Brian May was an evolved human. Count me out of his cool club. Curves, castrato perfection, pop voice that sounds like a built in auto-tune, young worker bee. She's making Adam out to be slickly perfect (product of the machine). Where as Brian and Roger are perfect in their unique, beautiful, nuanced imperfection, the mark of true artists. That is just bullshit. Servants of the status quo, playing it safe, lacking the courage to break down the fucking walls! Do you not see what you are doing? While I did not enjoy some of the words used and the implication you have to lose your balls to sing like that, it is really a matter of POV what it all means in the end. Looks like Brian May felt it was a positive reviews. You thought it wasn't. I personally think it was a positive review of the concert, and a mostly positive review of Adam from someone who does not care for pop idol products. The one thing that balanced it out for me was the part that I always agreed with - Freddie could NOT sing live as well as Adam does, and when a Queen fan admits that, I am in my happy corner. Freddie had the stage presence and crowd control magic and the charisma, but technically I prefer listening to the QAL concerts because they are mostly vocal perfection, and I like perfection. And then there was something said during the short interview Brian and Roger gave when arriving in Russia. I think many missed it because it was covered by the Russian voice-over. In short, Brian said about Adam " Frankly, I have never heard such a voice in my life". This coming from one of Freddie's closest friends meant a lot to me... ;D My 2 cents, YMMV. Well said, kryptoman68. I think Brian and Roger genuinely believe in Adam's talent and support him. Brian's statement meant a lot to me also, as well as Roger stating that Adam's voice was one in a hundred million at the EMAs.
