I agree and I think Adam sighed before he answered . A couple of years ago ,he said he was flattered by Idol judge rumors ,but he wanted to concentrate on his career. I wonder what changed this year ? He now seems to want it. I would rather have Adam do the singing . I think if he was a judge, I would be Adam get up there and show them how to sing for god's sake.. LOL What changed? 1) radio 2) A couple of years ago, being a judge probably didn't seem like a likely possibility. This time he was actually approached. I agree about radio, but Adam keeps saying that Idol hasn't contacted him..?? |

On that review -- mys*&@^#r50 just wrote what I was going to post. Brian does not write what appears on BrianMay.com. And I think the article about the Queen+AL is an example of a writer trying to be clever. ** Regarding the Twitter trend concept. If Fox executives want to consider social media sentiment, and I really doubt they will, they will use a social media listening/monitoring tool like radian 6 and not look at crude measures like Trends. I doubt it would do any harm except waste a lot of time that fans could direct to making radio requests or something that can help Adam or others. (work in a Food Bank or for a suicide hot line.) Maybe they haven't contacted him personally, but I believe there have been discussions with his management. Remember in London when he said 'it's not a sure thing yet' or something to that effect? That sounded like more than a rumor to me.

OT - does anyone know the names of Cheeks' dog?
His real name is Beau, but in the show his name is Jack, because when Cheeks and Haley brought him home from the pet store, Brady saw the tag on his collar describing his breed as "Jack Russell Mix" and assumed that was his name. Cheeks played along. Beau is Cheeks's dog in real life. |

Cuz that changes everything....I heard him say he "doesn't know anything" in the Japanese interview which indicates there's been some kind of back and forth and he doesn't know the decision...but "I wasn't asked"?? When did he say that? :-/

When did he say that? :-/ Go back a few pages and listen to Adam and the Aussie interview. Adam has said a number of times when Asked about Idol,that he was not contacted by them. Both Pharell and is it Joe Jonas? said they were contacted,close to signing,etc. I read that Pharell will be at the Idol auditions. Adam keeps saying he's open to being a judge if Idol offers the job to him. So I've gone from Yay he has it to.. I would rather he sing than judge anyway.. |
