The Idol thing - I'm getting really confused about what was said by whom and when it was said. I'd love to have a timeline laid out with everything that happened pertinent to Adam including all of his quotes. Then maybe I could make an intelligent guess as to his chances. As I said pages ago the remark that he hasn't been contacted yet (if this interview was recent) is the thing that kind of squashed it for me. Several others were "flown to LA for talks" and he hasn't been "contacted yet"? Just doesn't sound positive. Yet I'm surprised that he would continue to be so open about how much he'd love the job if he didn't think he was being considered seriously. Being public about how he much wants it & then to have never even been approached puts him in a vulnerable position imo. Can't see him doing that. Bottom line - I'm confused and need a MAP and a GPS. ETA: Just listened to that part of the interview again and he says "IF I was asked..." I really don't think he'd say that if his management was in talks with Idol. Ok - DONE I too would like a time line and quotes. I have been swinging from happiness to gloom on a daily even hourly basis. It is hard on my blood pressure! |

I have to agree as painful as it is for me... and its not even the words he used ('I wasn't asked") but the tone... it was so flat, with no sparkle, or energy or any kind of upbeat curve that he usually has.. but then it could've been early in the morning or just tired... who knows... ...also - the Winstar sounds to me now like a concert related promise - so may be TP tour related... I mean he knows that they will be in the South.... I hope I am wrong but for now I give up on the AI issue and look forward to whatever else will happen in September. I am sure while the public calendar is empty - his "real" calendar is not. ??? ??? could someone please direct me to this quote "I wasn't asked" because I didn't hear him say it...and believe me I've been hanging on his every word LOL. I guess people can listen to the same thing and hear what they want to hear. at around 25 mins "i'd love to do it if the opportunity presented itself....if I was asked.... I haven't heard anything yet..."... and he did a sigh before answering... the tone of the response was down IMO |

I didn't get the "curvy" either.. But just see Adam and Freddie from physical stand point. Adam is all the opposite of Freddie. He's tall, very good looking, clad in leather jackets and tall leather boots with heels. Basically he's more fashionable than Freddie  . Well, Freddie was skinny as a rail, so compared to him, anyone is curvy. And as we all know, Adam has an impressive curve or two...   I know I need someone to point that out..  |

Go back a few pages and listen to Adam and the Aussie interview. Adam has said a number of times when Asked about Idol,that he was not contacted by them. Both Pharell and is it Joe Jonas? said they were contacted,close to signing,etc. I read that Pharell will be at the Idol auditions. Adam keeps saying he's open to being a judge if Idol offers the job to him. So I've gone from Yay he has it to.. I would rather he sing than judge anyway.. When did Phaerrell ever sya he was contacted? All I saw was all heresay by his "associates" I guess I read the same hearsay by his associates who said that Pharell told them he would be at Idol auditions. At this point I don't know what to believe or not believe. |

Lol, Bridgeymah, I think the rumor is starting to die. At least for me. Adam seems to be basically denying the Idol thing. I think he wanted it, but it's not happening. I can deal with all that, I just want to see SOMETHING show up on the September schedule. He has a new single coming out. PLEASE let there be a plan in place; really don't want to see the label drop a single unsupported. There WILL be something, the calendar is not as blank as we see. Adam's confirmed that he will work on some "stuff" in September, he just denied to call it a job. As the "stuff" needs to be kept in secret now, we can't see it in his calendar yet. So I stay positive, Idol or not. I am just unable to think of anything else other than Idol. TV appearances, concerts, music video are never secrets. What can that "stuff" be???? The new TV schedule starts in Sept so he could very well be doing all the major talk shows. But, IMO, no one offs, is surprising. |

I don't know...it still seems to me that he may be being coy because he's not allowed to spill the beans yet. Maybe he's fudging with the "haven't heard anything yet" meaning that he hasn't been given the go-ahead to make an announcement yet. I'm just a cock-eyed optimist.
