AfterElton @afterelton vh1: How @adamlambert uses his social media to make the world a better place tmblr.co/Z26HPyRXgo0w vh1: What do Ian Somerhalder, Adam Lambert, and Will.I.Am have in common? They’re all celebrities who care about doing good. And they’re all nominated, along with others like Emma Stone and Taylor Swift, for Do Something! Awards to honor them for their charitable works. To explain just how far their celebrity reaches when it comes to causes they care about, and just how much chatter they can generate, we created infographics like Adam’s above. More on Taylor, Ian and the rest on VH1.com!

soaked - Is that what he said? "More than a promo tour" and "special"? I can't recall - I think my memory is fading in my old age. Or else there's just too many details swimming around in Adam fandom. And I am NOT gelly! lol He said so in a June interview here, at around 2:40 I said last night that it would make perfect sense that now is a good time to make the Asia/Autralia promo tour. After Japan, Adam can go to Singapore, New Zealand then Oz. I speculated it was the original plan, that's why in the interiew, Adam said he would visit Oz in 3-4 months (which is Sept-Oct from June). Now it looks to me as if something is coming along that doesn't allow Adam to visit Singapore and NZ, he even has to push the Oz trip up to August and squeeze it in 4 days, unable to make it "more than a promo tour, an special" as he promised before. I listened to this and I have a totally different take. I think he is just saying that when we do promotion it is special. In other words, his promotion events usually involve some singing, a great interview, he dolls up etc. etc. I don't get the sense that there is something else "special" that will take place at that time.

It has to be something really great for Adam to stop promoting his album. AUS , NZ and Asia love him. When the album came out this was so important to him to spend the whole year promoting.
Maybe Idol is waiting for him to come back.

Really?! I thought it sounded great! The audio someone recorded at the show was great. I've always hated TV audio. It did sound kinda weird Actually it wasn't recent at all, but Adam said for TV performances they usually feed the vocals to the TV audio dry, in the studio and most other live performances they put some effects like reverb or delay on them to make them sound better, fuller.

I did not know that Cheyenne Jackson was trying to break into the pop music world too. He and Adam have had some similarities in their paths; musical theatre, out and proud from the beginning. Cheyenne is older and has had a few more opportunities on TV. He does have a different style and image. But he continues to plug away and seems to be doing well. And even with all his exposure I have never heard his music on the radio. I thought this interview with him was interesting and made me think of Adam. www.davidmixner.com/2012/08/five-questions-forcheyenne-jackson.html#more Below is a video of a recent single

Just an honest question (REALLY not trying to tick anyone off), but could the abbreviated promo tour in Australia, and lack of anything in NZ, have anything at all to do with the fact that the singles and album have not done well there? At some point does the label decide that devoting a whole bunch of time to some of these markets with this particular project just isn't worth the expense? I'm with everybody else in hoping that he has a much better reason for the quick trip . But, this is just a question I had.

Has anyone seen pictures of the crowd with the sunflowers at that concert a few days ago? There was a picture of Japanese Freddie holding them out front before the concert, but I haven't seen a crowd shot where they all hold them up. I'm curious how effective that was ...
