Ok, trying to do some sleuthing and have a question: Google search with the following string: 'Cecile Frot-Coutaz Adam Lambert' got me the following entry: Cecile Frot-Coutaz Promoted to CEO of 'Idol' Producer ... Any experience with that? ETA: Not going to join the chorus and shout ' sour grapes'. I believe these grapes would have been sweet for him, but maybe it is not meant to be. He can live without it, it just would have been nice....and no idol is not dead, but with such a panel it would become a farce. Many have called it a farce, when it wasn't, now it would sink to that level. So it is more sadz for music biz and music lovers. For FOX and its ratings hunger it may work out for them, unfortunately, in a train wreck kind of way. Who knows. I am confuised. This article is from April. Why woud Adam be mentioned in this article? |

I believe Shirley...IMHO if anyone would want Adam on Idol,besides his fans, it would be Shirley.
Idol is all about the money ,the ratings and the contestants ?what contestants? The judges will be
hawking their new songs,like JLO did.
In a way that's really not Adam,he would be sincerely trying to help the new singers. I think He will
be on Idol for a new single,for a bit of mentoring,etc. They still love Adam over at AI,at least that's
in MHO.

If there is even an ounce of truth to this article, it tells me that Idol is not trying to get a quality judging panel. They are just going for "names." They are following The Voice's idea that people will tune in a show for the judges. It doesn't matter about the contestants. Sad for me, because I love Idol & think they have had the best and without a doubt, the only successful contestants!
ETA: WTF?! Shirley tweets a photo out of Adam now? Hmmm, strange, no?

On tour, here, would work. But in OZ, no. It is imposssible! ETA: He has a big break in his tour between Sept. 4th and January. He couuld do Idol easily. Live shows don't start until end of Feb. or first of March |
