Australia is NOT MONTHS FROM NOW. They are going in October! . Ok, a month from now. Still. Geez. I feel like it took me this long to get to this opinion and now i'm being talked out of it. Only I don't care what anyone else thinks. All opinions are valid and defendable. I stand by my sqeee. I think your squee is fine -- just not sure why doing these concerts caused you to think Adam has Idol? But there are tons of other hints/clues that something is going on. |

There's a lot I want for AFL but at the very least, I want what he wants. He wants AI, I'm there. My support for him is unconditional yet I get so much more from him than I give.
Thinking back to the July Fantasy Springs performance and how he opened the gates and called on his fans to get closer to him. He seemed to be bursting with joy and needed to share it with those who cared. If he had some good news then but couldn't say, perhaps this was his way of including us.

My comment about Adam's tweet about Tina's song as a "clue" was meant to be humorous. Maybe I failed. Just trying to say that we do know that Adam is good at dropping clues, but not everything he tweets is meant to be a clue.
Having said that, I think Adam going platinum may be a clue. IF he gets IDOL, then the entire panel will be some shade of blond(e), natural or otherwise.

Also, Adam only has to work couple of days a week. So he can schedule concerts that Reina was referring to. Yes he will have to travel, but my hopes are still on the judgeship. If he doesn't get it I will go into the severest depressive state (J/K). I want what he wants. His whole demeanor says he has it. He is their little secret. He is the comeback guy!!!!!

The Idol schedule leaves the judges free for Oct to mid- or late-December and then mid-May through August. Plus, during the season, it is only 2 days a week.

There comes a point when all the circumstancial evidence becomes enough. We each get there at a differently time if ever. Either he has it or he doesn't but either way it hasn't been dull around here for ages and I don't think that's gonna change. ETA I appreciate hearing both sides of the argument so  to all. |

The last season of Idol that was an interesting competition/race was AI8. Since then, it has just been no contest. BORING. Did anyone really doubt that P2 would win this year? Kris, Lee, Scotty, P2 -- the string of boring winners is a huge problem. I wish this was over. The curse of Kristy Lee Cook has been completed.  We are entering a new era.
But will the last-in-the-alphabet curse ever be broken? Every single year, the person whose first name comes first in the alphabet is the runner-up while the person whose first name comes last is the winner. Even when the two finalists had the same first name (David), the one whose last name came first in the alphabet was the runner-up.
