One thing to keep in mind is that whether Adam has the judging job or not (and I believe he does) - HE already knows. Whatever happens over the next few days/weeks is not a surprise to him. He won't be disappointed, and neither should we. OK, maybe just for a selfish second cause I won't get to see him on my TV twice a week.... AND HE HAS BEEN SO DAMN HAPPY LATELY. So whatever comes next is going to be amazing!! Good perspective ! You're right ...Adam has to know one way or the other and he has indeed been a happy camper. One major perk of being in love with someone who loves you back with mutual trust and respect is how relaxed you can be in the knowledge. I believe their relationship allows Adam to simply be himself...no BS as he says. That's what I feel watching and listening to Is This Love ..."no matter what I've got my man and he's got me".

jazzhands- have been gone for several days so loved your summary. Thanks for putting that together. I'm glad you found it useful. It was still fun (if you have the time) to read the last few days of posts. It's a little like a bi-polar Bollywood polka, or something equally strange. I reserved a table in the Crazy Train lounge car weeks ago, where I've picked out a lovely celebratory bottle of Grand Pommier and listen for the sound of the train whistle.

Yes, the final Idol contract contains all kinds of terms -- including promotional guarantees. I have 2 questions: If Adam's got the AI gig, is it possible for him to appear in other TV shows (such as Jay or Ellen) and perform his single(s)? If he is going to tour after AI, is it possible for him to make an announcement on AI about the Trespassing tour, of course not as many times as the AI tour, but once or twice? Yes, to all those things. He can do the talk shows, and defintiely will. He can do one offs. And he can announce his Trespaassing and/or Queen tours on the show. Yes, yes, yes!!!

Perhaps we should all party in the Crazy Train lounge, after the Idol judges announcement. No matter what the outcome, we can celebrate the end of the wait and the next phase of the journey.

Okay, last post made me go back and find piece to read again (ugh! With the DNW DSA pic!!). Virg, it was mentioned, but not linked on the timeline (or did I miss it?) It started the whole thing! www.eonline.com/news/328551/american-idol-shakeup-fox-considering-adam-lambert-as-judge" They have been talking about Adam for over a month," a source exclusively tells E! News. "He personifies the show, and will be a popular choice right from the start. He knows what it's like to be on the receiving end of the judges' comments, he has a human touch, and they know they can't go wrong if they bring him on. He would be able to bring a unique perspective to the show. People love him." That's a lot of (true) detail for a random PR-grab story. Susiefierce Thanks! I added the article. Bolded comments makes for a nice mission statement for the time line. I wasnt going to add articles being that there were so many but this was the first one that broke the news and should not be overlooked.
