I want to speak up for those "older, over 40 women" who I have found are really intelligent. We all seem to know what is appropriate and what isn't. I don't think we need to be told whether to show up or not show up for a gay rave. We have pretty sound judgment and will rely on that in determining whether to attend or not.  |

If you are young and gay, by all means go! It just clearly isn't an event geared to straight women over 40. , WTF??? You wouldn't deprive a crotchety OLD woman a chance to work on her bucket list????  I wonder, do they let gay men over 40 into raves? The Circuit would not be appropriate for me because of my personality. But I'm on a ageism rant because I truly resent being categorized EVER because of my age. I can rock with the best of em. Damnit. PLEASE know this is not personal, Bullsfan. Age is an attitude. I've had my age stuck down my throat ever since I joined this fandom. Sorry, had to let that out. Breathe.. It isn't about you. It's about Adam. It's not ageism. It's common sense. Do you really think he needs a bunch of straight, middle-age women showing up at this thing? Seriously? Perfect opportunity for him to win over a new audience. Let him have this night. Yeah, breathe indeed. |
