Jessica Sanchez was bi-racial and she was half hispanic. Also, there was that Andrew guy- WGWG- can't remember his name. lol How about David Archuleta? Pretty sure Jessica is all Philipino, no?! ETA: Ooooo, I forgot about Archie! I have just always thought of him as Mormon. I know that doesn't make sense, but that was the way my brain saw him. Yes, thanks for the info. My view is that I will never endorse "AI needs a male white judge" because its endorsing a form of racism. That is the point I am making here. It's not racism. It's TV demographics. Racism would be implying one was better than the other. This is more of a quota so Idol can hit key demographics. It is racism in the sense that "people only relate to their look alikes". I dont. I bet you dont and I bet Adam doesnt (though come to think of it he picked a scandinavian throwback to his past!) Its like having balck people date black people on tv shows or white people date white people. This is racism even if it seems normal to some people. |

I think I posted this a few months back. But I'll repeat. Katy Perry is reportedly forming her own label.
Madonna has her own, and now Katy will follow soon. So if RCA drops Adam, maybe Katy will be a friend and pick him up.

Enrique's songs, especially those with Pitbull, are very raunchy. Like his hit, "Tonight I'm F***ing You". After it did well on iTunes, they cleaned it up for radio, "Tonight I'm Loving You", but the sentiment was the same. It should be fun watching Enrique do his hits for the pure, decent god-fearing folks who watch Idol. But at least he ain't queer. sigh. |

Idol needs to balance the judging panel to maximize the audience. I will be happy if Adam is a judge, I will be happy if he is not a judge. I just want him to keep singing.
ETA If Adam retires, I will be sad. That is the only thing that would make me sad.
ETA 2: Let's not beat up Enrique -- especially on the gay issue. Since he is probably bisexual.

Thanks. I needed this. I was checking out this Enrique Iglesias dude. Wanted to see what he sounded like. Watched snippets of a live concert vid. Boring. Doesn't do much with his voice. Not a showman. Not stylish. Meh. Had to go listen and look at some pretty, some personality. |

In recent years, Enrique couldn't sell records or downloads. What put him back on itunes and Top 40 radio was Pitbull. Pitbull also restarted J-Lo's music career. Maybe Pitbull needs to be a judge on Idol. I am sure Idol would LOVE to have gotten Pitbull. Still 50/50 regarding Adam's chances. Enrique is a real possibility if they could afford him; and with the news of Bieber showing up on X-Factor, they may just be willing to do it. |

I really want Adam to get the gig, not for the purpose of watching him twice a week on TV as I am not quite a TV watcher. I think AI provides a different promo method which may not guarantee anything, but as it is different, it gives me something new to look forward to, something different to expect. I want to see the impact of the new method.
