This is a question he answered today after his first tweet. To me this answer is telling everyone that he is talking about what HE says and that sometimes he's being sarcastic or talking BS. Having said that I believe he has every right to do so. It's not his problem that some fans are taking everything seriously Makayla @xiihy4lyfx @adamlambert Awww, you're cute. Tell me, how do we know when you ARE serious?Adam Lambert @adamlambert @xiihy4lyfx yeah I suppose it doesn't always translate over twitter. Guess I guess ? Uh, I need to make sure that you don't say he is BStin' about Idol stuff? It's becasue someone is feeling upset thinking that he is teasing and BStin' his fans about it. If you don't think so, it doesn't matter how you interpret. We all know that Adam doesn't take himself seriously , and he is silly and goofy all the time.

Oh NO NO of course I don't believe he's BS about Idol stuff!! IMO He's totally talking about his tweet " my Mom didn't approve. " After this tweet fans literally took it as his mom didn't approve and reading everything was hilarious! I mean his mom AND his grandma saw him jerking off a mic stand and fellatio and everything else and someone would think that his mom told him so or she actually cares?

He's often bsing, and he's often sarcastic. His dad is the same way. The bs and sarcasm had to do with the "mom" tweet, not with idol. He was not bsing when he said it was a beautiful rumor and that the wait was stressing him out. When there's a false rumor, he calls it. He's never called idol a false rumor.
Also, I doubt he's futzing about idol salary. With two songs that didn't hit, an album that might not get gold, he needs idol more than idol needs him. He might not be in a position to go for a major job like this next year. He knows this and idol knows this. I hope he gets the gig.

This is TOTALLY off topic, but we had $160 left over from the 83 attendees at the Queen/Adam pre-concerts party in London on July 10th. JustGill and I decided to donate the money to 1in10 for the kids to attend Adam’s concert at the Arizona State Fair on Oct. 17th. I think this is a win-win for the kids and for Adam Back to enjoying tweets and Idol discussion... What a great idea!

Adam is following E!'s Fashion Police
@e_FashionPolice Who looks fine and who should be fined? Don't worry, the hosts with the most will let you know!

They've never had an alum as a judge so it would be more surprising for them to pick him than for them not to pick him. I don't see the "alum" thing as a detriment. If anything - it is a feather in their hat... He mentored. Nigel loves Travis on the SYTYCD and they have other alums as choreographers... IMO - it all comes down to demo and advertisers. Nothing else. It does come down to ratings and getting the right demo and amount of viewers they are shooting for. How do you do that? You have a show that people want to watch. Steven should have been highly entertaining, but he was the dullest of dull! Jlo wasn't worth what they were paying her either! Randy is and always has been overpaid and a terrible judge. AI wants and NEEDS personalities on that panel! They need some crazy. some loopy, some drama, some eye candy, some sweetness and some good advisers. They want all this in a package that will retain their old viewers, bring back the ones who have left and get new (younger) viewers. Then, these judges need to have chemistry, because that is when viewers really enjoy watching. Lastly, they need to make sure that these four choices stay within their budget. When you look at all the factors and consider that this is the #1 rated (non-sports) show in the US, this is an important multi-million dollar decision and not one that the producers are taking lightly. A bad decision could cost them millions of dollars!

Am I the only one thinking that if Idol still considers Adam by this time, they must have a place for him, the worst case is it may not be a judge.
If they didn't want him, they should have said No to him a long time ago, at the latest the same time with Nick. September is just around the corner now. We are talking about business here, it's not a vacation.

A bad decision could cost them millions of dollars! One thing I am sure of after watching Adam's public moves for three years, is that he seems very capable of having good chemistry with just about everybody. I bet AI knows this too and it is probably one of the reasons they are interested in him. He would make the panel lively and fun.
