This is TOTALLY off topic, but we had $160 left over from the 83 attendees at the Queen/Adam pre-concerts party in London on July 10th. JustGill and I decided to donate the money to 1in10 for the kids to attend Adam’s concert at the Arizona State Fair on Oct. 17th. I think this is a win-win for the kids and for Adam Back to enjoying tweets and Idol discussion... Yay supardu and JustGill ! Great idea! |

I say, no matter what the information is or who or where it comes from (even Adam himself), don't take it too seriously unless (a) you can personally verify it or (b) you have official confirmation that it's true.
Long ago, I stopped angsting about things that might or might not happen to me or people I care about, even when they're really good things I very much want to come true. Why should we complicate our lives and make ourselves sick and stressed, especially if what we're concerned about is out of our control? Better to stay positive, and trust that the universe will work things out in the best way (even if it may not seem like the best way at the time).
I love Adam and this site and all of you, but I just gotta stay off that rollercoaster!

If they already signed Enrique Adam would know by now and said so. I think it would look great for Idol to have Adam and show people what great talent they pick.
I really can not believe Adam is taking all of Septemver off thinking he may have a job when he could be doing concerts and making money.

Am I the only one thinking that if Idol still considers Adam by this time, they must have a place for him, the worst case is it may not be a judge. If they didn't want him, they should have said No to him a long time ago, at the latest the same time with Nick. September is just around the corner now. We are talking about business here, it's not a vacation. I agree that it would be almost unprofessional of Idol to be stringing someone alone for such a long period of time and at such a late date. It is one of the reasons I am still on the Idol train even with my glass half empty personality. |

Lurking around real quick and the only thing coming to my mind right now is that no matter what the outcome of AI, the fandom is going to either implode or explode - big time. Seems so much angst and/or anticipation had built up it is like a powder keg in waiting...
I will surely watch the ride until I can post more often. But in any event, wow, it will be a jolting ride for sure... IMHO

Although I don't even know, if I'm a glass half empty or glass half full person - I think that this picture is showing a great way how we should look at things :-)  I will be going on vacation from tomorrow on and won't have internet access for over a week. And as strange as it seems, I am happy about that. The idol discussion tears me apart and I don't know why I take it so serious. I want it so much for him.... and I think I will be sad, if it doesn't happen. :-/ |

It is one of the reasons I am still on the Idol train even with my glass half empty personality. Didn't Kara say that she found out idol had cut her from the panel online? That was unprofessional of them, yet it happened. Idol is capable of stringing someone along, especially if they hold the cards. All we know is that Adam is being considered. Everything else is conjecture. |

Meeting all of you was a THRILL! :D Aww, thanks to everyone for the party, including Didilynn, Sapuro, our door crew, people who volunteered to help decorate at the last minute, those who helped with the sound system, etc. etc. I had fun, too, but didn’t get to talk to enough of you wonderful people. If anyone (besides Mayumi) has photos, would you please send them along? We hope that the 1in10 kids will have a good time, too. |
