Also, with everything probably happening next week, I don't see how Idol would be a in a position where they don't know exactly who the judges will be. They have to know by this point. Of course, the candidates might still be in the dark.

Seems to me Adam is not teasing us but trying really hard to send code out to his fans. The BS comment was in reference to the "mom" didnt approve tweet, wasn't it? Just like following Idol was something he knew we'd pick up on. He may not know if he's got the job but I think the gag order isn't easy on him.

No major announcement will be made on the Friday before a holiday weekend. But, at the very least, it will be leaked out next week with something official probably the week after. So, the end is near. Eta---I don't the "twitter BS" had anything to do with Idol or the single. Probably more about the sleeping naked and Queer As Folk "stuff." just Adam messing a little with fans and being funny. ITA, bullsfan.May be Friday they will formally announce that Nigel is the EP. I think that the ambien tweets were sincere and I am pained to know that Adam is still waiting - with all the emotions that a wait like this brings.... IDK if Nigel has any say in the final judges decision, I hope not... In any case my expectations at the moment are waaaaay low... like in the 10% probability range...just a feeling... and yes...yet another groundhog day I so wish I could be at the BM with our crew there, in the world of "art and lights"! ... going to look for the BM ustream.... |

I think the reference to Friday was for a leak not an official announcement. Probably even that won't happen though because of the holiday. We've come this far - I guess we can hang on for a few more days? To be completely honest though I'm beginning to care a bit less about it. When you're on an emotional high it's hard to sustain the pitch.
Maybe the media feels the same?

It's not Adam's fault in regards to American Idol, apparently from some post back, It's Nigel's bargaining for his new contract holding up the decisions . I believe Adam is stressed and was just letting off steam with the fans he trusts to 'get' him.He let his guard down and was filterless. I guess he got an earful from above and said it was all BS. His trust in us sure isn't BS to me. Stressful times .. I love him for him and just move on without any judgement,my fan love is unconditional. IMHO,Adam needs our acceptance now more than ever............................... He has his ups and downs just like the rest of us.If he doesn't get the Idol gig ,I hope we rally around him and show him positivity and love. It's Adam's journey after all and we have been invited to go on the ride. Ya never know what's going to happen when you start traveling.. that's what's so exciting. Very well said! I admit, I was quite sceptical about Adam becoming American Idol judge. Anyway there were times that I believed he could get it. After yesterday's twitter party I just think it's not gonna happen. But I agree with melliemom, Adam trusts us and he needs our acceptance and support now more than ever. I am his fan. I will support him. I believe he did that twitter party (both of them) for reason. And if nothing else, I think that his last tweet form yesterday "Goodnight beautiful Glamberts. Try and be your most authentic, honest self today." was genuine (English is not my first language, so I could get it totally wrong though). And I hope if that AI judge job is not going to happen, there is something good (really good) waiting for Adam in the future. *fingers crossed* |

Guess I'm tired of guessing and guessing and speculating and wondering and going weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks with no concrete news about stuff and then everyone always says "I'll believe it only when Adam says it's true/it's false..." or "I won't believe it until Adam confirms it..." but then Adam, himself, gets all cutesy and says " yeah I suppose it doesn't always translate over twitter. Guess I guess" and I'm like WTF DOES THAT EVEN MEAN AND NO, I DON'T WANT TO GUESS ANYMORE I'M FUCKING TIRED OF GUESSING and as y'all know I don't do twitter but I've decided if I ever DO decide to do twitter I'm not even gonna follow Adam cause I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO ALWAYS KEEP GUESSING CAUSE MY ANXIETY LEVEL GOES UP AND IT JUST GIVES AN INDUSTRIAL-STRENGTH CHUNKEY-SIZED HEADACHE!!!! I'm not a hand-wringer or beset with angst but at this point, for me, after the teases going back months and now having him say he's bullshitting fans, well, I'm irritated. It's not cute or amusing any more. Just irritating. Or as my sister says, "All foreplay and no follow-through makes a woman cranky." 100% sure the bullshit tweet was right after the "mom" tweet and was in reference to that. YES! To this! |
