Amazing I got my wish with so many Queen covers now. "Somebody to Love" was way up there. Here's one that would be so HOT if he did it!! "Need You Tonight," by INXS I'll try to think which vocally challenging, soul-stirring ballad I want. BTW, speaking of duets, they have started pimping Barbra Streisand's new album and I heard her single the other day and her voice is as stunning as ever. If she and A ever did a duet live, that would be jaw-dropping. But it looked to me like the album as described was unreleased recordings spanning her career. What makes you think the single is a current recording? Hmm, I don't know. I think mainly from that day Adam was on GMA and they were talking about her new album deal and asked if he would like to duet with her. I guess I presumed this was from that project and it would be new material. Wasn't her last album a compilation of hits too? (Thinking of the one that was around the time we were watching how FYE did on Amazon Movers & Shakers ...) I caught the link from a tweet and it was just phrased, "Her new song," and I had never heard the song before, so I figured it was recent. I'll have to try to track it back to figure out if it is or not. ETA: OIC, her album is unreleased songs ... (no wonder I hadn't heard it). Well, it's pretty and she sounds great. One of my all time favorites. He could sooooo pull this one off with soaring vocals. Could he do it better? Don't know, but would love to hear his rendition. |

I just caught up on the thread and, Q3, I love the idea of covers songs for Adam to sing. My wish came true for any Queen song and I'm still waiting for a Adam cover of
Sweet Child o Mine by Guns N' Roses
And Ray Of Light by Madonna
Adam's sound check singing of it was just a TEASE! ;D

So Idol is now feeding info to garner the support for the glue to the panel. Yeah!!!! They are either feeding it, or the press is just taking note. Either way, it is perfect for Adam!! And this fact ( that he is the only Idol family member) will be noted when it happens, too. I am sure of it! mys*&@^#r, where did you read that fact? I heard last night from ENews that with Randy's gone they need someone that familiar with the AI history .. or something like that. |
