Hello.
I escaped the Dustpocalyse early. I just finished a sub sandwich with every fresh vegetable known to man on it and am on my second cup of brewed coffee. I took a shower for half an hour and still had playa dust on the towel. The motel room is air-conditioned with clean white sheets on the bed and I am so much more appreciative than I have been for anything in a long time.
Yes, I am a wuss but such a clean happy one.
Granduchess was going to leave tonight as well, but Angelkrash, hoopla, and nonotme are still there and plan to stay through the temple burn tomorrow night. What an amazing but harsh place Burning Man is. Granduchess, angelkrash, and I set up camp last Saturday in a full on over one hour dust white-out and the dust was ultimately my nemesis. But over the course of the past week I have talked to so many interesting people and seen such incredible artwork that there was joy as well. It will take me some time to process. My happy place was to head home and certainly the playa teaches you to go to your happy place, so here I am on my way with a full heart.
Soooooo ....... still no idol news, huh!
