Idol better get their announcement out this week or XF is screwed!
According to TV Line, NBC has extended the The Voice’s upcoming two-night premiere to three nights in order to purposely eff with the premiere of FOX’s The X Factor.

Show me where I said I don't like the back up singers! Show me please! Perhaps you are confused! Backing track does not mean the same as back up singer. Is that what you think?! You are wrong! Backing track is all inclusive, instrumentation, effects, and Adam's backing vocals. I think the way he did Gay and the Matinee were almost a great compromise. Backing tracks to get the effects on the album, but live backup singers too. Adam's backing vocals were just a bit too loud at Matinee, but maybe that was a sound system problem. You realize that except for the acoustic portion of Glam Nation, the entire show had backing tracks? Right? I repeat, I have been among the VJJs biggest supporters. I have no idea where you are coming from right now! I don't know where I'm coming from either. I have never seen him live and never will so the uTubes all sound wonderful to me. I don't belong in this conversation. Awww, BB! Sorry you have never seen him live! Let's kiss and make up!

Well opinions are like assholes...everybody's got one, and here is mine so hold your nose I fully believe that Trespassing is a much more superior album to FYE, but if you compare it sales and chart wise to FYE, it is tanking hard unfortunately. Not really any comparison actually. Sads but Trues!!!

You guys ... There is a huge conceptual difference between playing music live and playing a recording. It doesn't make sense to compare them. Listening to a recording, you can appreciate the computer generated instrumentation, or backing tracks. It sounds better. It sounds the way the artist intended it to sound. It is about listening to sound. It is for the ears and brain. At a live show, it is all about expression. The song may wildly differ from the record due to expression. There is stage presence and a show and the infinity between the singer, the band, and the audience. It is about listening to music. It is for the body! This should not even be an argument because both are good. It is like debating whether restaurant food or home cooking is the best. My 2 cents. Not in Pop music, and this wasn't the way it was during the GNT and fans seemed to love that tour! Also, live performances and shows aren't just for the super stans. Live performances on TV and promo events are also for the non-fans and shows are also for casual fans. Your points are valid enough, but have nothing to do with anything that I wrote, and particularly not with the part that you bolded. j/s

[placing mod hat on head, and missing Hoppers]I know waiting for news is difficult, but please remember the rules of this forum. In particular today:
2. You must be respectful of other members. Feel free to express you opinion, but be glitterier and golden.
3. Strive to be funny, entertaining or informative when you post. Avoid posting something that has already been posted.
Some of the recent posts are veering toward arguments between people rather than glittery, golden discussion of ideas. Debating what YOU said or didn't say, and what YOU interpreted rightly or wrongly crosses the line.
Discussion about relative sales numbers and whether they indicate success or failure of the TP album is best moved to either the numbers thread or the dark thread.
Once you have stated your opinion, remember the rule about posting something that has already been posted. Repetition will not reinforce your position. Please, let it go on this forum.
As we all (im)patiently await news, please keep in mind GLITTERY, GOLDEN, FUNNY, ENTERTAINING and INFORMATIVE. Reread your words before posting and evaluate if they match those words. If not, the dark thread is always an option.
Thank you.
