So, Adam went to a gay bar last night. This is news? He's been doing that for ten years. If he has to homogenize and sanitize his image to the point of changing his lifestyle in order to be on Idol, then Idol is NOT for him. Should he stop appearing in public with his partner, too? Or is that acceptable, the "right kind of gay" for the mainstream? I'm glad to read that he is out, having fun, hanging with his boys, and is still able to do that despite being a celebrity. You go, girl!  .. |

Here is my reasoning re the FUBAR tweet (and trying to answer some of the sentiments I saw as a response to my post): Adam is smart. He is playing the game. I doubt he would do anything that would jeopardize his chances. He even deleted his quite sterile "Ambien" tweets. The Matinee performance was uber conservative IMO: he came out dressed like a nun (compare to his AU code piece gig), he had no discernible banter, he performed as if he were on a family show (two grabs is all I noticed)... The "fag" video is quite old... I really don't see how it applies to the "keep it clean for AI" attitude that he's been engaging during this past several months. Nicky Minaj is there for a shock value in the first place. She is there to create some "staged conflict" with Mariah , in the same manner as Simon and Paula were playing some stupid roles for years. So, I don't think that anything Nicky does can hurt her chances. My "conclusion" has nothing to do with him BEING there - it has to do with ANNOUNCING he was there and endorsing the place - he did not have to do that. He could've gone as he goes to many places without tweeting about it. I see no relevance in TMZ allegedly being there - it is not like he was going to be "caught" doing something "bad"... Obviously - it may very well be that Adam has never seen the site and has no idea what and how is presented there. In this case - he just had a great time and he tweeted about it. If he has seen it - the message I see is "I don't care about AI and their advertisers any more". I hope I am wrong and he was signed. But again - that is how I took his tweet - YMMV.  Do you think that AI forgot that Adam is gay? There are pics of Adam at gay bars all over the internet. |

What was the 22nd? Was that when someone's "adopted son" had the callbacks with the producers? Either way, judges have missed the judging rounds before. They will have three out of the four, so they can still do the round on the 22nd. I'm going with what Adam has been telling us all along. He had talked to them and was under consideration for the position. Period. If they have settled on four judges, and Adam isn't one of them, he never mislead us or he doesn't owe us some big explanation on Twitter. Adam can't control the fact that some read the tea leaves and jumped to conclusions and thought things were "for sure" and were 100% sure because they felt it in their gut. Adam never gave the impression that he was a sure thing, fans just took it that way. What rumors does he need to correct, the ones that fans made up in their head? Maybe Adam isn't dealing with the rumor, because he is dealing with the disappointment himself? Maybe he is just allowing his name to float around out there for PR purposes, although he knows it's over. The adopted son is going to a Producers Round on 9/14/12. There is a rumor that the Judges will be unveiled on 9/20/12 which is a Wednesday --- they presented the 2010 team on Wednesday 9/22/10. There is another rumor that the Judges round will not start until 9/25/12. But all but the 9/14/12 date are rumors with NO evidence. |

Shirley did include Adam in an article about Adam that was in THR subscriber edition on 8/21/12 -- four days after her article that included the four judge panel with Mariah, Keith, Nicki and Enrique.
"The American Idol Judges Morass"..... But the mention was just to say that buzz had fizzled! Not exactly what I was talking about. It is a bit more than that -- she classified Adam as a Big Star who was not willing. Stuck me as odd. Still seems odd because she follows Adam and knows he is at least publicly willing. |

You go, girl! .. You know... adamlambert Fubar was EVERYTHING tonight. This could have been and since he tweeted about it, in all likely hood it was a paid visit. Wonder what his going rate is to visit an establisment? Would he consider my club house? Bet we could take money out of the building fund.  |

I just want Enrique to turn down the offer. But at $10-12 mil, may be he will take it.
Does he have any major thing going on early next year?
He's got a new single out now, right? Maybe he also wants big promo for his new single. oh well,things are suggesting he will be taking the offer :-(
I think Idol will have scripted judges in order to stop the rating from falling further.

ETAI take that back because I have not looked at every site. I will say that it is common. Not that it matters, but I have personally been to a couple gay bars in Miwaukee that are nothing like Fubar. As a straight female I am no expert, but I would guess that gay bars are like "straight bars" in that there is a wide spectrum of different types. |
