I noticed on today's TV guide that Randy Jackson is the guest on "The View" and "Hoda and Kathie Lee". Any chance of getting Idol clues or inside information from him? Why would they be trotting out Randy now? Randy appears to be starting his "Life After Idol" tour today. He will almost likely say he "quit" being a judge. This is his brief press window to be in the spotlight. Every Idol judge who leaves, "quit". Even Ellen. Identical timing to Kara in 2010. And now he can finally talk about how he quit being an Idol judge. I doubt he will say much of anything specific because he still have two prob connections to the show -- one is certain, he is Mariah's manager, and one is his rumored mentor role. There is also a rumor that he has a new program in development and hopes that Fox will pick it up. He is also on a different mission -- to build awareness of diabetes. |

I love all the Trespassing videos so much! Even the bad ones are so endearing!! Adam has so many fans that love him! So many young fans! :Clap: :2tears:

I think we have about 50 in our thread already! And I am sure some are missing. (I have not counted them but I am sure someone has counted them.) ETA: We have 53 already!! |

I saw a repeat of The View not too long ago. Randy was on and hawking his new wristwatch collection. He's in with HSN now. I never liked him much as a judge but have respect for his musical career. He's another one that understands any facet of the entertainment industry means $$$ -- music may be his first love but he takes his notoriety and uses it in other facets of the industry. BTW - that birthday cake with the white frosting, sliced almonds and strawberries pushed all kinds of yummy triggers for me this a.m. -- I'd like one slice, with hot tea, served by Adam's infinity pool......thank you!

So if you happen to be bored and want to do something really great -- here are a few ideas:
1. Check out the videos in the contest thread -- and put together your list of the best ones.
2. Seek out any missing videos -- I know there are more out there!
3. Put together a list of all the entries we have -- Name of YouTube accountholder who posted it, title and link to video (just the link, not embedded). Post the list in the thread and I will add to page 1.
I am having a wonderful time watching these videos! And I am so glad Adam did this.

Jackson was questioned directly about the American Idol shake-up rumors on CNN on Monday (September 10), but he stopped short of offering exact confirmation of his role on the series. "Just don't believe everything you hear," he coyly commented. The producer refused to offer any further comments about his future on American Idol, only saying that he's very proud of the series. "American Idol is one of the best shows ever," Jackson said. "There are a lot of shows that have borrowed… but I still believe we are the best." Jackson has appeared on American Idol since the very first season in 2002. Mariah Carey is thus far the only confirmed judge for American Idol's 2013 season. Keith Urban, Nicki Minaj and Enrique Iglesias are among the contenders rumored to be joining Carey on the judging panel. American Idol is expected to return to Fox in January.

OK so I lied..one more and then I'm done.....sleepy time.... Oooooooooolala! He is wonderful! Thanks for posting iluvfun!! This song is so eerily prophetic it is hard to imagine he wrote it while in his studio apartment trying to manifest his dreams and it's one of his early attempts at songwriting. I think it is half a commentary on the irony of celebrity culture and half a verbalization of what he wants to achieve. He's found both and it is indeed a double-edged sword, which is part of the theme here. |
