OK so I lied..one more and then I'm done.....sleepy time.... Oooooooooolala! He is wonderful! Thanks for posting iluvfun!! This song is so eerily prophetic it is hard to imagine he wrote it while in his studio apartment trying to manifest his dreams and it's one of his early attempts at songwriting. I think it is half a commentary on the irony of celebrity culture and half a verbalization of what he wants to achieve. He's found both and it is indeed a double-edged sword, which is part of the theme here. Susie, Agree! I was just about to post about how prophetic the lyrics to this song are. It is amazing that all of this has manifested for Adam, except for the 15 minutes part, going on 4 years now!!!!! |

I also agree, mys*&@^#r, that with a little tweaking and new production it is every bit as poppy and relevant today. Interesting that Digital Spy piece about Randy: "Don't believe everything you read, indeed!" (He does have occasional moments of sage clarity other than during season 8  ) But please let ONE of the real bits released by Idol be that he is indeed OUT as judge. He is so past his shelf life and was pretty much a low-substance generic product when he started. |

 I just want to say how much I am enjoying the Trespassing videos Adam fans are making for his contest. A big thank you to all who are bringing them here for our viewing pleasure!  ETA: I was just thinking it would be great if the winners of the contest would get to be in Adam's Trespassing video...maybe as extras or something. It would be a nice way for Adam to say thank you for all the support and creativity of his fans. |

I just watched Randy Jackson on the Today Show segment with Hoda and Kathy Lee. Randy said he will be touring the country to promote his new campaign against Type 2 diabetes. Hoda asked him about Idol and he said, "we'll just have to see what happens" and that "I don't know who is confirmed as judges (of course except for my friend Mariah Carey)." He returned the conversation to diabetes. So nada about Idol as expected!

Gave away my last copy of TRESPASSING DELUXE to my physical therapist, so have to get more, but in meantime, put my UK version (thank you Bamafan) in car CD player where Deluxe has resided since early May, and bopped down the highway. At red light when Nirvana finished, By The Rules came on and I literally jumped because it wasn't Trespassing, as expected. Then I looked around to see if anyone in the other cars saw me. Seemingly not, thank goodness.
Question: Did anyone make DVD of Hammersmith performances? I have Kiev (have watched over and over and over, and again, thank you Bama) but loved the relaxed Adam in London. If anyone DID make a DVD, would be happy (actually thrilled) to buy one. Never enough Adam in this life!!!

The girls and I have been having so much fun watching all the Trepassing videos. What a great idea this was. Very entertaining ! Thank you Adam! I wonder if Adam will comment (on YouTube ) on all the videos. I think that would be nice and will also ensure that he did watch it. I have picked favorites but had to make categories for each. Most creative , most entertaining and cutiest . |
