Randy Jackson dodges 'American Idol' questions

Randy Jackson sat down with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb on Today this morning to talk about diabetes and they asked if he's still an American Idol judge.
"Listen, it's an amazing show," Jackson hedged. "My friend Mariah Carey is there. I think she's going to bring a lot of excitement to it. Let's see what happens."
As a photo appeared on the screen of him with Carey, he said, "It's me and Mariah!" But he didn't say more, and he was referring to the photo, not the judges' table.
As for Nicki Minaj and the persistent rumor that she has signed as a judge, Jackson said, "I don't know who else has been confirmed yet. But Mariah is there!"

Randy: "Mariah is the only one confirmed right now on the show like that."
Barbara Walters to Randy Jackson: "Are you staying with the show? Are you going to be in a different position?"
Randy: "Let's see what happens - It hasn't all been worked out - let's see what happens."
Whoopi: "So, You're not sure yet?"
Randy: High squeaky voice, "We'll see what happens"
Barbara: "Are you going to be with the show?" (Not positive of this question)
Randy: "It all hasn't really been worked out yet. In the next couple of weeks it will be worked out I'm sure."
Randy: "All of these kids come in and want to be Mariah. She will give the show a big boost."
