Thanks for posting iluvfun!! This song is so eerily prophetic it is hard to imagine he wrote it while in his studio apartment trying to manifest his dreams and it's one of his early attempts at songwriting. I think it is half a commentary on the irony of celebrity culture and half a verbalization of what he wants to achieve. He's found both and it is indeed a double-edged sword, which is part of the theme here. Susie, Agree! I was just about to post about how prophetic the lyrics to this song are. It is amazing that all of this has manifested for Adam, except for the 15 minutes part, going on 4 years now!!!!! I've always been addicted to this song, chiefly because of the prophetic lyrics. I wonder if Adam ever thinks that or if he is too busy with today to revisit the past - music-wise, that is. |

. Question: Did anyone make DVD of Hammersmith performances? I have Kiev (have watched over and over and over, and again, thank you Bama) but loved the relaxed Adam in London. If anyone DID make a DVD, would be happy (actually thrilled) to buy one. Never enough Adam in this life!!! Me too!! Me too!! |

I actually never got a good DVD of Hammersmith either. I could never get the vids to sync up right or be in the right format, etc. So if there is one I would love to get one  |
