Here's the thing, if they wanted to go "more radio friendly" than they should have just chosen Cuckoo. And the irony of choosing Adam's mission statement and then changing it to be more radio friendly is well......... ironic! I'm not going to say anythhing else about the songs. I don't want to be a "wanker." But I will comment about the Randy news. It is bullshit! I still say it is a PR way to save face for Randy. He will soon come up with the idea that it is not ethical for he and Mariah to be on the same judging panel (which it isn't.) He is going to move to a role as mentor. I agree with you on this. Don't understand the "ethical" part. Just because they are in the business together, does not make them being on the same panel as unethical, or a conflict of interest. They are simpy judges in a reality show. It appers ethics only relate to the contestants.

Disagree with his cash cow?! Hell, no!

It has to do with fair judging of the contestants. I don't give a fuck about their relationship. It would affect their judging. It will be like having 3 judges instead of 4.

IMO - the judges don't take their on air opinions too seriously, they are guided by the producer choices anyway... I seriously doubt that Randy cares about any of the contestants (from observing him from S2 to S8). I see no conflict of any kind...not even peripherally...

Has Idol ever "leaked" false information just to see what the general reaction is like? Not that I know of.... And as far as I can tell, the reports in The Hollywood Reporter that have said Idol sources say.....have been true. What I have found..... 1. JLo's management leaked the info that she was in discussion with Idol (true info) to determine public response. Other artists and personalities have done similar things but they were in discussion with Idol. ETA: Some people have used a call from Idol to discuss being a judge for their own PR -- Howard Stern in Feb 2010 and Donald HeWhoCannot amed. 2. FOX/Idol has leaked true info in the past.... Example: 7/22/10 - Fox is determined to snag a widely-known music industry figure for the post, and Hollywood Reporter says Chris Isaak has met twice with the network. Harry Connick Jr., Bret Michaels and Donald HeWhoCannot amed have also reportedly been considered. > Turned out that all four were on the consideration list and Chris Isaak and Harry Connick both meet with the FOX/Idol team about being a judge. 3. FOX has not confirmed true info that had leaked in the past..... For example -- August 2, 2010 (over a month before the official JLo and Steven announcement) But I cannot find any case where FOX or Idol purposefully leaked false info as some kind of decoy so that the truth would be a surprise.

Just noticed that I missed one location where photos were taken yesterday. It seems Adam was very busy going from one place to another, so no idea how much of the programmes he had time to actually see/listen to. We got photos anyway and that's nice! The Industry Bar www.industry-bar.com/where 'Marty Thomas presents DIVA featuring VOCA Peoples EMILY DRENNAN' was in the programme martythomaspresentsdiva.com/
