tbh, I am also spinning my head what is going on. Something does not yet add up, and I agree, I also somehow believe that Adam is still in NYC.
Idol needs something that is a surprise, otherwise they are going to get absolutly zero press out of their judges announcement, especially if it happens on Sunday.
Just like you, I believe we are still missing a piece in the puzzle. Now whether that missing piece involves Adam, who knows, but I am not ruling it out either.

Would Nigel be above telling a lie FIB about who will be present Sunday? 2 hours before FOX announced Mariah, Nigel was talking about JLo coming back. So he was either not in the loop, or he was lying! I can not belueve I am jumping back in with both feet! But no one knows if Adam is back in LA. We were all just asssuming. But.....No pics @ either airport. No airport tweeting spree. No Goodbye to NYC. No Home Sweet Home. No tweet about our heat wave! Minaj's tweet was the first thing that turned me back around. She didn't say, "Not today" "Maybe later" or "Sunday" No! What she said was: "Go to bed. NVM. :( " WTF does NVM mean?! Whenever I thought about Randy as a judge, I always felt it would only happen if the NM deal fell through. I still have a hard time believing that COKE approved her. YES, I AM ABSOLUTELY NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Here, bb..I'll share..   |

A couple people have said that if he doesn't have it he still can't say anything. If he doesn't work for them why does have to be quiet? Do they make you sign something even when you're just in talks?
