It dawned on me while looking for an appropriate Adam vampire pic and there are many, that the one thing that Adam has never gotten tired of is being a vampire for Halloween. Sure he has been many different shades of vampire, but always a vampire. : Adam has become soooooo predictable. ;D not, lol

Awwww [gently pats you on the back] I remember some of your lollies were... alcohol-oriented... you could grab one of those [nods, and looks around for a salted tequila lolly] [sighs in resignation] Still slightly green with frustration and envy, but conceeding that there's absolutely no way I can do this (really close, gonna-be-so-much-fun) show. Me: That said, you guys who get to go BETTER recap but good after the show!! That's all I'm sayn'. :twist:

Uhmmmm..................Nooooo!!!!!!!!!!!No touring with Adam www.opposingviews.com/i/entertainment/kris-allen-dropped-rcaWinning American Idol does not mean as much as it used to. Season 8 winner, Kris Allen has been dropped by RCA. Now Kris will be forced to try and make records on his own and I'm sure he thinks he will have a ton of success but the way to make money in music these days is to go on tour and I think he and Adam Lambert should go on tour. Together. It would make money and they could sell more records just at shows then they would ever do so traditionally. They would make a very good living. As it stands right now, if Kris just decides to do something on his own he is going to get lost in that whole white guy with a guitar thing from the last few seasons of Idol where everyone just kind of feels like the same person.

[/IMG]
Interesting! I was thinking about this yesterday after having bought Pink's new album (it was $5.00 at Amazon as an MP3 download, but be careful to avoid downloading the "clean" version - horror! ;D ). Actually, I was wondering how well she has done in terms of sales, and how well it will go this time, vs. Adam's first week sales in May. Pink has had quite a long career, and quite a bit of adversity. She is another artist who is not easy to swallow for more narrow-minded people.

I always feel like I have a gazillion questions for him, but then, when he does a twitter party, I literally freeze. My mind goes blank. I can't think of any and if I do, I start worrying if they are appropriate/interesting/good enough. I have a mini panic attack. So, I don't think it would be a good job for me RE the MORE interview: wtf! No trespassing, going back to idol days... the only reasonable question was about Queen. aleksandra and other peeps... don't forget that we have the "ASK ADAM" thread where we can post questions/have them ready for twitter parties or when interviewers say, "Send me questions you want me to ask Adam!!" And don't ever panic that your questions aren't good enough! You can see the "Ask Adam" thread on the front page of ATOP. adamtopia.com/index.cgi?board=askadam

So it took her many years to get to that point. ETA: Up until recently, I'd say she has been bigger in OZ and EU than the US!

So it took her many years to get to that point. Yes, in the US. However, in Europe and otherwhere (e.g. Australia) she's been touring in arenas and stadiums for a while. The US just took a while to catch up. I read an interview with her and she said how funny it was to go from playing a sold-out stadium show abroad to coming to the US and playing in small clubs like the 9.30 in DC. I love Pink. Her new album is awesome, too.
