I checked this out to see if tickets were available. Only 1 ticket was available in $175 category. How do you know? I just checked this out too and I selected 4 tickets for $125.00 category and they're still available for 4 in GA. rama was talking about $175 VIP tickets. She said only 1 was available. I just tried to get one $175 ticket. It said none available. $125 GA tickets still available.

Fox owes Adam bigtime!!!!! they better have him in as a mentor for the whole season to make up for his income losses for sept and oct. We really have no idea what happened between Adam and Fox. Adam has never said anything about the gap in his calendar and it is not the first time he took a break while he was getting ready for a major promo wave. That said, I sure hope that Adam's public support and interest in Idol pays off in terms of appearances or a mentoring week or something. Of course with The Voice set to take away Idol's 18-49 #1 show crown this spring, I would rather see him performing on The Voice. ETA: Does anyone have the request info for WSTW's song challenge? If so, please post. After appearance on The Voice China??? ... I wonder who's going to sit on the judges seat next Spring, maybe one of them can have Adam as their mentoring partners... ;D ;D

As much as I don't like Nigel, but I don't think that has anything to do with Nigel. It's a work of art, don't think exec producers can force the choreographer to do something like that. The choreographer chooses the music for their own choreography. It's their own career and their arts. I think we are going to have to agree to disagree. Haley's song "Free", which didn't have much airplay, was used as background music. I don't think a choreographer has anything to do with that. I thought Travis liked Adam. Didn't he tweet him once? And although possible, it is hard for me to believe that a choreographer chose an unknown song like "Fade into Me", which subsequently tanked when it went to radio. Seems more plausible that it was suggested by Nigel. I know "Jar of Hearts" was discovered on that show but I just didn't feel "Fade into Me" was a song on the same level (i.e. I thought it was very generic). I know nothing, but logic tells me that the songs are probably suggested to the choreographers, and WHAT song is used is as much a business decision as any other product placement. may be I am too cynical... ...and I still can't get over that horrid Carlie performance... in short - it is time for RCA to do their job and stop fucking around... the 9:30 Club not sold out - Tuesday night makes it for locals and I guess there is not much fire behind the cause locally.. not to mention the on-going issue with the gay community not supporting one of their own... :twist:

Randy Shulman þ@RandyShulman I spoke with @adamlambert about Tuesday's benefit for @md4equality at the @930club ow.ly/dUFDx @metroweekly #VoteFor6 Adam: "I kind of shy away from political events and issues -- not because I don't have my own opinions, but because I find it to be a very sensitive thing," says Adam Lambert. "And quite frankly, I'm a little bit frustrated with politics in this country. From somebody who hasn't gotten super involved, it seems like a lot of mudslinging and B.S. to me." "Ideally, that's what being an American is -- that we all have a shot [at marriage]. I hear a lot of arguments against it, where [gay activists] say, 'We should be focusing on economic issues and not human rights issues, for the election.' There's some value in that. But I also think, 'You know what? This is an economic issue for gay people. We should have the same right as a straight couple to have a tax exemption.... We should be able to raise a family that's equally protected under the law." "Question 6 isn't something that's asking me whether or not you're a Democrat or a Republican," says Lambert. "It's just a direct human rights question." "I think it's baby steps.... We have to keep in mind that it's difficult for people to sidestep into territories they're not comfortable in. I'm a singer, I'm an entertainer. I'm not a politician. But this is an issue that affects me because it supercedes politics. "In the entertainment community," he continues, "people are doing what they can. If you look at this fall season of television, there's a couple shows that are coming on with very honest, gay characters portraying real gay lives in relationships. I think that's a huge step forward. There's things that we're all doing to try to make people comfortable and to help people understand, to help erase some of the stereotypes. And that's the hardest part, that balance of celebrating who we are and our eccentricities and also trying to help people that are on the outside understand who we are. "The hurdle I'm always kind of running into, is that the movement for a while has been about us trying to display how we're the same as opposed to how we're different. I recognize that as a very important part of us blending together. But it's not my style," says the singer known for his glam-rock flamboyance. "I'm somebody who likes to be weird and different and outrageous. That's who I am as an entertainer. And so, sometimes I might not fit in with what's best for the community as far as us progressing with society. But you've got to also give a voice to those [of us] who want to be outrageous and different and rebels." "I'm about freedom of expression more than anything else," he says. "I like to push buttons a little bit -- buttons that are kind of perverse or contrary. I like to take the other side and challenge things. It's just who I am. It's part of my personality." Great Interview. It makes me proud to be an Adam fan!

Sorry, cannot believe we are still talking about Adam and Idol.. Itza over. We consider Adam's band dispensable, but Adam has always stated that how important his band members are to him. That they are his family on the road and off. It looks like Isaac has some commitments and that is the biz, but I wouldn't shove him under the rug for good. Hopefully, he will be back with Adam when he can. There is something about solidarity in the people who are backing you that gives a performer a reliability factor. So personally, I never see any band member leaving as 'eh..whatever'..JMO Adam has said he picks his 'crew' as much for their attitude and vibe as for their talent. Keisha has a big mouth. That is all. Isaac is touring with his own band that's why he has to leave Adam's band. I like Isaac too and would love to see him back, but it's not fair for the new drummer. Adam will treat his new drummer as a new member of his family. When LP went out on tour with his band, he was replaced by Isaac and Isaac stays with Adam until now. Adam and Isaac will stay friends, but I don't think Adam will let go his new drummer when Isaac's done with his own tour.
