I keep thinking he's got to let me down at some point and he just doesn't. He just brings it again and again, living up to all expectations. Sooooooooooooooo rare. This never happens in life. Just never. He is such a megalithic talent. He is a true freak of nature. I did not love the style of FYE album. Just not my thing. But, he turned it into pure fabulosity on the stage and Glam Nation Live CD is mind-boggling outer-Adamosphere sublime. I'm so crazy happy for him. His success makes me truly feel like crying. He just brings so much joy again and again. love him. It is just so wierd to be so happy for someone I don't know. I truly am not one who has followed ANY star, ever. What the freak? His voice just breaks through all and grabs you by the heart. OK....I'll stop now. We've all said it before and it is nothing new. It just continues to amaze me. Like, how the hell did this happen. DITTO It has been two years, and I am still asking myself "what the hell happened." I don't know anybody I would give two years of my life to other than my immediate family. I think the word "bazaar" enters my mind at least once a day. Adam overwhelmed my mind, my heart, and my spirit. I don't know that I will ever understand it. I am also overwhelmed by Adam's talent and the need to follow every detail of his life.. I have not followed anyone like this since I was a teenager and was a fan of David Cassidy and then not like this as we only had teen mags. His voice and personality are beyond anyone out their now or previously. I love the CD that came with the DVD his voice is amazing and I find myself listening every chance I get. I am glad so may others feel the same it makes this more legit and I know I am not losing it.

glamtealady - I too have only once before been so overwhelmed in such circumstances, and it was also David Cassidy when I was 13 years old! I have actually thought about what they might have in common that caused the reaction but I cannot come up with anything sensible.
Actually, a few years ago I was at a theater benefit and David Cassidy and his brother were there......he still looked good and I shook his hand. Didn't have the nerve though to explain my youthful crush which I now regret.

A few years ago I saw him at Epcot perform for the first time and he was very good and chrismatic. But of course neither can touch Adams voice. I think as a kid it was only looks and the tv shows they where on.

OK, here I am on housecleaning day wondering why I am so excited about the people Adam is choosing to collab with. I thought of the existing music industry and in my pea brain, I see a pretty small gene pool of writers and producers creating the market. NOT saying I don't appreciate some of these talented artists. I do. What is cool here to me is Adam is going outside the box. Sia has been around for awhile but is more known for writing for others. Nikki Costa writes a lot. But they haven't blown up to be household names. This is exciting as I see a transfusion coming into the music industry. New blood, exciting names we GET to become familiar with. Adam wrote: "I'm gonna start a revolution.." and I do believe that he will. Yes, he needs hits. Absolutely. No matter who he does collab with, I feel it in my bones that this is the beginning of a new wave in the music industry and it tickles me ADAM!!! 1 I don't doubt he will write with current hitmakers too. Already been with Ryan Tedder. I mean, Rome wasn't built in a day. And people like Tedder, Dr. Luke and Max Martin have written and produced fabulous music! So I am not saying 'throw the baby out with the bath water' but I am giddy with anticipation for what is see is being birthed here. Wow, does anyone else get all philosophical whilst cleaning the bathroom???? Too much Clorox, maybe So, go gettum', Adam! Oh, and lookie who he chose for his Aftermath Remix...Billboard. Never heard of him and now I have. This is the stuff history is made of..yup, too much Clorox Adam is also using Katy Perry's writer, Bonnie McKee, and she has major hits. I agree. I have no doubt that Adam will (as pointed out currently is) working with proven hitmakers. But time keeps on turning and tastes should and do change. Today's sounds aren't necessarily tomorrows or even six months from nows (Aren't you a little tired of Kesha, Bruno and Rhianna songs on the radio right now? Even if you like them?). If you just try to just copy who is hottest now, you actually end up a little behind the curve of artistic change by the time the album comes out. I think that it's "tomorrows" hits, fresh sounds, hot new artists and new genres that are the really important ones, as difficult as it is to predict the future. The best way have a chance of bottling lightening is to pursue quality, seek out that which is genuine, heartfelt, deeply moving, timeless, while also new and timely (that also means you don't overlook being aware of the indie edge, the strange and unusual, the music art students and college djs are listening to too). Both Sia and Nikka are these kind of artists from what I can tell -- they are musicians musicians. I love the albums "clap your hands" and "everybody got their something", and am really glad Adam introduced me to them. I'm so happy Adam is spending time to perfect things with these folks, sitting with his new music for a little longer before recording it. Listening and thinking and writing and doing all the things vital to creating a truely personal and unique artistic identity. That is the surest ticket to Adam's career longevity IMO, making great new music (as well as singing flawlessly and performing with fire). I can't wait to hear it.

What has this amazing man done to me over the last 2 years? Why is resistance futile? And why do I feel I might end up like this? But, f***, he's sooo damn cute, sexy, awesome, gorgeous, and has the most otherworldly voice I've ever heard that its' more than worth it, and more fun then I've had in years!!!

I'm in awe of your writing skills, this whole chapter sends chills down my spine... Yes, Adam needs to live and breath his music before recording it, to be able to instill the essence of it into the album. Me too, can't wait. And want fire on stage...
