I will be happy is Adam has a huge single or two BUT almost all on my fav musicians and bands have really not been huge single artists. I want Adam to create an album that is important.
Pink Floyd is are really good example.
I love album #7 "Obscured by Clouds" (1972)
Album #8 is one of the biggest selling albums of all time "Dark Side of the Moon" (1973)
Albums #9 to #14 were big sellers -- #1 in many countries.
But they really only have one hit single "Another Brick in the Wall (Part II)" (1980).
In 1973 "Money" hit #10 in the US and #13 in AU but that is it.
I know that we are supposed to be in the era of tracks and albums are DOA -- but I do not buy that. I think that it is still possible to create an important album. And that is what I want, an album that matters.

DITTO It has been two years, and I am still asking myself "what the hell happened." I don't know anybody I would give two years of my life to other than my immediate family. I think the word "bazaar" enters my mind at least once a day. Adam overwhelmed my mind, my heart, and my spirit. I don't know that I will ever understand it. I am also overwhelmed by Adam's talent and the need to follow every detail of his life.. I have not followed anyone like this since I was a teenager and was a fan of David Cassidy and then not like this as we only had teen mags. His voice and personality are beyond anyone out their now or previously. I love the CD that came with the DVD his voice is amazing and I find myself listening every chance I get. I am glad so may others feel the same it makes this more legit and I know I am not losing it. Personally, I think we have all lost it--en masse. We're under his spell.

I forgot to remind us that Elton John is hosting SNL tonight. Since many of us have memories that go back to his hay day, it might be fun.
