Hi Skylar! So refreshing right? What a great way to start the day!!! Today is a good day! Adam is kicking world ass. It's gorgeous outside. The flowers are coming up and Adam admirers are coming out of the woodwork everywhere. I feel a song coming on. *wanders off whistling a happy tune* I will take that walk with you today! Smiling and humming, I can not whistle.

Ok, peeps that were at Cam's concert last night - how was the concert? And (can't believe I'm asking this) what was Sauli like??????? The concert was great!! Cam's voice is beautiful and they sang my favorite song off their album. It was fabulous live. It was short though. It ended in less than an hour. Then the encore added about another 8 minutes on. I am a fan, but not a stan. If I were a stan, I would have wanted more. I talked to one of the employess and he said it was less than 50 tickets away from being sold out. So yay for Uh Huh her!!! Oh, very mellow audience!! Hardly any dancing or jumping up and down and it was a very young crowd. Definitely not as "rockin" as a Glam Nation audience.

Oh, I think that I have an understanding of that "hot wax" tweet from the night of Gaga's party. When we were eating dinner and it was time to pay the bill, it was so dark I couldn't read it. Plus, I didn't have my reading glasses with me. So, right above me on some cool looking circular shelves, there were a bunch of candles, in tea light size holders. Silly me, I reached for one of the candles to bring it down to our table, so we could see the bill, and maybe it was the angle of having to reach up and bring it down, or maybe it was the 2 Margaritas I was feeling, but I spilled melted wax on my hand and the table. :-[ At that very moment instead of going, "Owwww!" I realized that probably is exactly what happened at the party Adam was at! He was moving a candle that had been burning all night and "Voila!" hot wax was on someone's leg!

I realized that that is exactly what happened at the party Adam was at! He was moving a candle that had been burning all night and "Voila!" hot wax was on someone's leg! I thought the hot wax comment probably had something to do with a candle. It's easy to do if you're moving it or angling it so you can read something in the dark. SO GLAD YOU AND LYNNE HAD A BLAST AT UH HUH HER. I'm a little wistful. Having a blast here of course, but still would have loved to go. And he looks GORGEOUS!! And so glad the tide is turning on Gagagate; I was sure he'd win in the end. Here's a snippet of a review of Elton John night by Hollywood Reporter guest blogger, Siobhan Magnus (note: she had not watched a single episode of Idol this season until Wednesday, so didn't know any of the whys wherefores and background drama ...) She starts her review of James, then goes into this: The comparisons to Adam Lambert are pretty obvious. I'm sure I'm not the first genius to pick up on that. And it just goes to show: Adam left such a footprint on the show that no matter the season, whoever really stands out as an individual, be it with their appearance or being really theatrical in their performance, it’s always going to come back to Adam's time on the show. It’s an inevitable comparison. As the show grows, people leave behind a stamp, they're part of it. It's amazing for Adam that he's been without a doubt one of the most influential contestants the show has ever had. There aren't really that many other people that contestants get compared to as immediately, but if you’re someone, like James, who’s bombastic and theatrical, they say Adam. Now, there were some parts of James' movements that didn’t look as comfortable as Adam seemed on the stage. There were times when he looked the slightest bit apprehensive, like when he jumped off the piano. To me, that was like he wanted to slide on his knees and at the last second went, “Maybe not.” I was just thinking of Tim Urban at home going, “Why didn't I jump on the piano?!” 8-) 8-) Zinnia, can you link to your Photobucket page?

First you get to go an UHH concert, then Adam and Sauli show up looking all cute, and then you have a moment of oneness with Adam and his great adventures of the week. I may need to go rewatch my DVD and remind myself that I, too, am cool because I was at this concert.
