Oh, I think that I have an understanding of that "hot wax" tweet from the night of Gaga's party. When we were eating dinner and it was time to pay the bill, it was so dark I couldn't read it. Plus, I didn't have my reading glasses with me. So, right above me on some cool looking circular shelves, there were a bunch of candles, in tea light size holders. Silly me, I reached for one of the candles to bring it down to our table, so we could see the bill, and maybe it was the angle of having to reach up and bring it down, or maybe it was the 2 Margaritas I was feeling, but I spilled melted wax on my hand and the table. :-[ At that very moment instead of going, "Owwww!" I realized that that is exactly what happened at the party Adam was at! He was moving a candle that had been burning all night and "Voila!" hot wax was on someone's leg! I thought the hot wax comment probably had something to do with a candle. It's easy to do if you're moving it or angling it so you can read something in the dark. SO GLAD YOU AND LYNNE HAD A BLAST AT UH HUH HER. I'm a little wistful. Having a blast here of course, but still would have loved to go. And he looks GORGEOUS!! And so glad the tide is turning on Gagagate; I was sure he'd win in the end. Here's a snippet of a review of Elton John night by Hollywood Reporter guest blogger, Siobhan Magnus (note: she had not watched a single episode of Idol this season until Wednesday, so didn't know any of the whys wherefores and background drama ...) She starts her review of James, then goes into this: The comparisons to Adam Lambert are pretty obvious. I'm sure I'm not the first genius to pick up on that. And it just goes to show: Adam left such a footprint on the show that no matter the season, whoever really stands out as an individual, be it with their appearance or being really theatrical in their performance, it’s always going to come back to Adam's time on the show. It’s an inevitable comparison. As the show grows, people leave behind a stamp, they're part of it. It's amazing for Adam that he's been without a doubt one of the most influential contestants the show has ever had. There aren't really that many other people that contestants get compared to as immediately, but if you’re someone, like James, who’s bombastic and theatrical, they say Adam. Now, there were some parts of James' movements that didn’t look as comfortable as Adam seemed on the stage. There were times when he looked the slightest bit apprehensive, like when he jumped off the piano. To me, that was like he wanted to slide on his knees and at the last second went, “Maybe not.” I was just thinking of Tim Urban at home going, “Why didn't I jump on the piano?!” 8-) 8-) Zinnia, can you link to your Photobucket page? I love Siobhan's review but I had to chuckle at the bolded part. Last season, she enjoyed the constant comparisions to Adam quite a bit herself. I think she's a bit biased here. LOL! Not that anything's wrong with that. ;D

Just watched that 'Friday' clip - so funny! Was just thinking they could have Adam on and turn the 'Party Gate' into a hilarious skit. ;D Turn lemons into lemonade.

My feed was all, ~Wut? Probably BS, but still would be awesome!! I always take any Adam news (Behind the Music yesterday) with a hopeful grain of salt. I'll get excited at the concept and wait for confirmation. Even if it isn't true, @god knows Adam has thrown enough pie-in-the-sky hopes and dreams into the universe that have ended up manifesting that I'm happy to invest in the dream right along with him. If it's not true, oh wellz, maybe next time it will be. If it is, then SQUEEEEE!!!! And Beyonce stan's random rick-roll is still an awesome idea.

Susie, we were wishing you were there, too!!! I love that recap by Siobhan. I read it at MJ's yesterday. Don't we all just love Siobhan now! ;D So........how was the Adam sighting? Well, we were in VIP and Adam was in VIP VIP! On each end of the VIP section there were two rooms with doors. The rest of the VIP section is a very nice, small balcony setup with round tables and 4 chairs per table. Then a nice large sofa area against the back wall. The whole area seats about 30 people. The private rooms have several upholstered club chairs in them, right in front of the balcony railing and a nice cushy sofa against the wall. The VIP VIP on the left, had Camila's family in it. Adorable proud dad was right next to me because the VIP VIP isn't completely private. The railings at the front connect and at each end, the only thing separating the sections is a half glass wall. So, when the lights are up bright, you can see right in. The lights were hardly ever up bright. :( The times I could see Aadam were, First, when they arrived because he towers over everyone. They all came in after the house lights went out. Then, the few times the lights got brighter. Adam and Sauli were sitting next to each other in the 2 club chairs, right at the front of their room. Last time, was when they exited and came down the stairs with Adam leading the way. He was completely, HBIC, getting from the VIP section, down the stairs, through the GA (which was pretty empty by then) and then backstage. Sauli was a good 6-8 feet behind him and so was everyone else. No one could keep up with his stride. No one said anything to him, no one bothered him. It was pretty cool!
