So shocked they didn't use the Save! What is Nigel going to do with that extra week?! I don't think there is an extra week. On Adam's season, when they saved Matt and redid the top 7, they eliminated two people that week. They went from top 7 to top 5. At least that is my memory. |

Eliminating 2 contestants would make the matter worse. There are extra weeks, not extra contestants. With the current contestant number, the finale should be May 9th, but it is May 16th. If they eliminated 2 kids in one week, that would still nnot work! They need a week when they eliminate no one in order for the Finale date to be correct.  |

I'm still confused. Do the judges still have a save to use? If so, they will use it to save one of the four remaining contestants. If not, then they obviously did not want Janelle to go any further.

I think they will have a no elimination week. My guess is this week (I will be wrong again!) They have to do something because there are too many shows left.

I'm 99.9% sure they will have a no elimination week. Surprise!!!! (NOT)! I'm watching at my sister's but frankly, I can't work up a f**k about any of them. Looks like AI is pushing Amber big time! Thank God Adam is not there!!!

The rage on Twitter tonight is impressive. Slezak is apoplectic and Lyndsey Parker is beside herself. As I posted several days ago, it looks like TPTB want an Amber/Angie finale, but they are being so heavy-handed about it! Candice and Kree got tossed under the bus tonight. Yes, they weren't perfect, but some of the judges comments were OTT.
And while Amber is talented, she should have been spanked for her song choices, a boring Celine Dion song and MacArthur Park (a truly awful song). And her rendition of MacArthur was not good -- off-key in many places. Really don't know what is going on ... the bias of the judges in favor of Amber is so overt that it may actually backfire on them. **shaking my head in disbelief**
ETA: And WTF was that judges versus Jimmy free-for-all during the critique of Candice's second song? Ugh. Poor Candice.

I guess the producers want an Amber and Angie Finale, huh?!
I have to agree about Kree losing her "Umph!" But I love her voice and will buy whatever she puts out! Anxious for it! Her vocals were fantastic though and their critiques were so obvious! Did Niki actually say, "I am not going to talk about vocals?! It's a singing show, woman!!
For me, Candice was the best of the the night and always is! She still deserves to win. She won't!
Angie I would put 2nd. She had a very good night.
I wish Jimmy had talked about the MacArthur Park vocal because it was really bad! Flat, flat, flat... especially during the fast part!
Well, no one can go home tonight, so hopefully the bussing of Kree and Candice will motivate their fanbases for next week.
