Kristen Schaal is also a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. She will of course be so impressed with Adam that she convinces Jon Stewart that Adam must be on the show and all will be right in my little world. LindaG, I was about to post the same thing! Schaal is really funny and a little off the wall on The Daily Show. I love that she's going to be on the Rove show with Adam, especially given that the show sounds so informal and unstructured. Should be great! And with Russell Brand added probably a bit insane, lol. I would be in heaven if Jon Stewart ever had Adam on The Daily Show. I have to say that Jon Stewart is the 2nd sexiest man on the planet -- after Adam, of course (and I agree with Juniemoon about the all-encompassing power of Adam's LIFE FORCE). I love Jon Stewart's brain, and his wit --- -- and I think he's cute, too. Sorry Keanu, you're in 3rd place now. ;D

Adam never was very good at math, and probably doesn't do his own taxes ... I guess he has never heard of the "marriage penalty" which actually had married couples divorcing at year end, vacationing on the tax savings, and re-marrying after the first of the year. If you look at the Federal tax tables now, you will find a married couple paying exactly the same as two single people. The big advantage for married couples was when only one worked and they could split the income between them, lowering their tax bracket. Nowadays with so many dual-income families, that is not as much of a benefit. A married couple who sells a home they own gets to write off $500K from the profits versus $250K for a single person.. that's a huge tax benefit if you're married. But two single people can write off the same amount as a couple ... it's still $250k per person. ETA: It is clear that there are many benefits available to marrieds, and I didn't mean to deny any of those, but I was responding to only two specific issues that were mentioned: Taxes, and home sale write offs. And now that so many people have lost the equity in their homes, there won't be as much profit to write off. Now, if you want to talk inequity, how come the government taxes profit on home sales, but doesn't let you deduct losses?

Although I don't think he'll be on The Daily Show unless he writes a book on economics or politics.
