Every now and then there is a photo of Adam where he just looks so young. Doesn't it make you want to pinch those cute little cheeks?

maddie, we're also really lucky because it seems like @glam_alidol's English is really good!!!
Man, here I thought I was turning in...
Yes, his English is very good. He went to college here in the States and we chat in English only, 'cuz I can't write Chinese well enough...I know, shame on me! :-[ :D

I truly hope alidol, or anyone else for that matter, won't be offended with the pronouns. FYI in Finnish we do have only one pronoun in 3rd person singular for persons (the other one is for things as you have 'it'). Everyone is referred to as 'hän' and I might make a mistake very easily.

Honestly, why is it that Adam is perceived so differently in China, Japan, etc.? Ever since seeing that airport video I have been wondering. It also brings to mind that mall stop he made in Finland where tons of young fans were lined up to see him. Why is he perceived so differently in these countries compared to the US? Is it that there is no reality show stigma? Or is it that they don't have radio DJs dictating who is "cool?" Is it a voice/sound thing? Why is it that he is too often the butt of jokes in this country, but is considered cool and hip in these other places??? He deserves to be taken seriousy. He has earned it. Idol stigma!! It's what hurts, and in most cases, halts the majority of the Idol's careers. There are loopholes and exceptions, like Kelly being the first winner and Carrie being the first country winner, but they are RARE! Adam's loophole is international interest. That may or may not end up finding its way back over to the states. If it doesn't, so what! Adam is still well respected by the majority of the media and everyone in the music business respects his talent. Adam can still tour in the US and abroad. He can also continue to build his fanbase internationally and make loads of money off of endorsement deals, private events and touring internationally.
