Sometimes I just crack myself up.......I'm sitting here watching the duet, drooling at the monitor, hands cupped under my chin, smiling, tearing up.....then, I come out of the moment and think to myself, "Thank God no one is taping me watching this!" It's just pathetic how much of a fangirl I've become.
eta: I'm so glad Adam had all that stadium practice with Queen.

You guys. This is huge. I had no idea Adam was the first foreign star to be invited to perform on Chinese national TV. And on their most popular show. In the Bird's Nest. This. And Kiev and Poland and Moscow. This isn't unfolding the way we forsaw ... but wow, Adam can't be denied. This is history in the making. .... uuuum no not the birds nest not sure about the "firstwhatever", just bc nobody here knows different doesn't mean it is correct and contrary to popular rumour he will not be the next president of the US I love him, but he will not singlehandedly save the world ETA: Sorry, just saw a tweet that Adam did more for foreign relations than diplomats .... :  that pushed a button, didn't want to demean your enthusiasm!!!!  |

Anyone notice that in addition to the "my Yay" in the place of "my ass" he also sang "no dress" instead of "no BS". Just as he was willing to modify his show in Kuala Lumpur in order to be able to entertain his fans he was obviously willing to adjust his lyrics here in order to be able to perform. In some cases it is more beneficial for an artist to compromise in order to be heard than to draw a hard line. Adam seems to have good judgement as to when it is to his advantage to give a little. There is something to be said for being willing to bend a little in order to get your foot in the door rather than rigid refusal to compromise.
