That has to be the dream of every Glambert out there. He must have had the time of his life. And it was so good too! The contestant has a beautiful voice, and this time he hit the high notes perfectly. And Adam... Oh God, I have no words. He was amazing.
Trespassing was good, but weird. The background music was almost nonexistent.

What is meant by "dry feed"? I think it is when the sound is transported directly from the microphone, and Adam hates it. ( that's what happened at AMAs), I think. Anyone, correct me, please, if I'm mistaken. Adam managed to sound fabulous, dry feed or not. It is when the voice goes directly into the microphone and out to the TV viewers. So if the sound is set up with reverb and all the good stuff an audience gets, the TV viewers get none of that, no echo, nothing. Most artists sound horrible with a dry feed, but NOT Adam! BTW, the reason the band and singers were barely heard is because I am sure it was 90% backing track, not really the live band or the back up singers. Also, this was the radio edit version which is why it sounded faster. All the things that make it sound slower on the album track (such as riffing, etc) are taken out.  |

I think the winner will be voted by the audience, voting is still on-going and the judges are pimping their 'students'. So far, the one with the leading votes is the guy who sang with a guitar. LoL Thanks for the information. So the audience does the voting. I wonder how the counting is done with 80,000 people!  Oh, sorry. I meant the viewers watching anywhere can vote as well cos they were giving out numbers to call after their performances (kinda like American Idol). |

@alidol is actually a GIRL but "disguised" as a BOY on weibo!
Very interesting! But WHY? well, I have no idea and that's why I'm one of those Chinese they'd like to call a "banana Chinese".  ;D but luckily we have "bluenile", one of our newest Atopians a Chinese student studying in Philly, to give us the insight. With her permission, here's her explanation in her reply to my pm:
"sure, pls share this! i guess the reason might be... usually we don't take online profiles a serious matter in china. gender, age, etc.
so when i register for a chinese community, like weibo, i always set the gender "male"
Now, I just got one question: are there any "disguised" Atopians here???

These judges are pretty damned good performers in their own right. I've been enjoying all the performances. I agree, after watching clips of the judges judging yesterday it has been interesting and fun to see them perform today. |

I adored Trespassing. Adam owned that stage and he sounded amazing! But then I do love the radio edit of Trespassing. Maybe even more than the album version . I don't think he could have done any better tonight! I'm so proud of him. :wub: |

Awwwwww. The wwfm duet just melted my cynical heart. That kid was sooooo happy, and Adam was so good with him, really made him the focus of the performance.

Since we're all benefiting so much from @alidol's twats & vids, it'd be better to properly address her. I thought she was a man 'cuz her weibo profile says so and never asked her during our online chats either, in turn, misled other members as well.
