One thing that helped advance Adam's career in China (and in Asia as a whole) was the movie epic 2012. It did not live up to boxoffice expectations here in the US, but overseas, particularly in Asia, it was a true blockbuster success. Don't forget that Adam sang "Time for Miracles" on the soundtrack of a film that audiences flocked to see in China, and many came away loving his voice and the song. The success of this song in reaching the Chinese was apparent when the host and the audience of the 80s talkshow sang the song to Adam. I myself am a fan of TFM as it is a song that really makes use of Adam's vocal gifts. it is too bad that the movie was released too close to the release of Adam's first album, and the song became kind of a throw-away in this country. I LOVE THIS SONG and really think it deserved more attention. The vocal on this soar with the strings and just listening to the vocal acrobatics wears me out... in a good way

The vocal on this soar with the strings and just listening to the vocal acrobatics wears me out... in a good way I was sad when I went to go see this movie, by the time the song was playing at the end, the entire theater cleared out. I ended up listening to it with just the couple people I went with. I sure wish it was in the beginning or middle of the movie. This was the song that Brian May went nuts over.

I have one question perhaps someone can answer. I believe Adam will be the first American star to appear on the Voice of China (after all, the show itself has only been on for a few months).
But how recent is the fact of major American entertainers doing big stadium concerts in China? OK, I know that Maroon 5 (with the other Adam) did a concert (or concerts) this last month. Were the Maroon 5 show(s) a first? Will our Adam, with his concert(s) in December be a pioneer?
