I am curious about something. I watch the tweets scroll by and almost all are in Chinese....I have only seen 2 myself that were in English and both were really nasty. One was "Voice of China makes me puke" and the other was "Voc sucks".....are the Chinese tweets just as nasty or is this a 'western' phenomenon? pretty sad..... I think what you are seeing is fans whose favorite signer did not win. Just like what happens in the US on Idol.

I see a few people taking what I said in a previous post in a different light, here is the original post:
I have one question perhaps someone can answer. I believe Adam will be the first American star to appear on the Voice of China (after all, the show itself has only been on for a few months). But how recent is the fact of major American entertainers doing big stadium concerts in China? OK, I know that Maroon 5 (with the other Adam) did a concert (or concerts) this last month. Were the Maroon 5 show(s) a first? Will our Adam, with his concert(s) in December be a pioneer? From what I read from twitter conversation yesterday between Terra & Alidol, it's a lot of Bureaucracy to have him perform due to the Chinese law i.e. gay. Then Alidol mentioned about Jake & Scissor Sister's concert that was cancelled recently. Not sure if it's due to his sexuality or not. However if Adam has a concert in December, I think he will be the first western gay singer who have a concert in China. Maybe we can ask Maddie to confirm it with Alidol about this?
It has very little or nothing to do with his sexuality. I said it in yesterday's thread that very few foreign acts or artists could really make a grand impression on the national scale in China, I forgot to point out one of the main reasons was because of the Chinese Ministry of Culture. Here is a link to better understand what this Chinese government bureau does: www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/aug/24/banned-china-lady-gaga-perry.
This is why that Modonna has never had concerts in China, MJ wasn't banned but the chance never materialized. And, no Pop diva from today's music landscape has had concerts in China, many of their songs are on the "black list". Interestingly, Elton John has been very welcome in China. He'll have a concert in Shanghai in Nov. then Hong Kong, his last concert in China was 8 years ago. Maroon 5 just had their very first concert in China on Sept 25th, so our Adam won't be the first major American entertainer to have concerts in China, however, he'll be the first to perform on Chinese National TV, on the most popular program at that. There're other foreign acts before him though: Avril and Shakira, who have also appeared on Chinese TV before.
>>>> in that bold part, I meant he was the first American major artist, not the first foreign artist. Hope this clears up...

I think, from what glam-idol has said the tweets are overwhelmingly positive! The tweets in English might be the best proof we've ever had that FOOS do indeed comment on Adam things! >:( OK...I do not understand what you mean, mys*&@^#r? The tweets are not aimed at Adam, if that is what you are thinking....at least there is no indication they are...he is gone and his name is not mentioned.... Ahhh, I misunderstood!

It is "mine." All he could have done was instead of using "he or she" changed it to "you." He was a different person in 2009. I think now, he would have changed it. I believe he wouldn't. This one word means bluring one's sexual identity because it isn't considered "moral" for radio. It isn't the same as bleeping the words "ass" or "fuck". Exactly. Ass and fuck are swearwords. Being gay isn't something that should be bleeped out. And I believe he would never do that.
