This photo is Adam discussing tea bagging (yes, with a straight face and lots of double entenres. I am not sure if it will make the US censors though!  It is going to be on the TV Guide Channel - cable. No network censors to get by. So there should be no problem with discussing tea bagging. Plus it is on late night. In the US it will be broadcast at 12:00 midnight ET and PT. 11:00PM CT and MT. Check your local listings. I watched the last 2 shows of the first season and TV Guide bleeped out stufff :( I was surprised! |

Hi all. I have really enjoyed all that we are seeing today of Adam performing in China. And I was wondering about his choice in jacket....do you think Adam chose it because of its Asian flavor? Especially when he has it buttoned up, like here. To me it really has a slight oriental style to it. Just wondering. I had to google what tea bagging meant. Mmmmm....never heard of that before or even imagined it. :redface: I see my post is above the picture instead of below it. |

To answer the question, "What did I think of Adam's twitter rant?"
First, I think he used the word "video" as a metaphor. Like he (and we) is stuck in a pink video of radio music. Right now, with the teen music taking over the charts (Beiber, Swift, Carly Rae, 1 Direction) he has to be longing for adult Pop. I took everything he said as a longing for a different atmosphere on radio and in Pop music right now.
Some thought he might have actually just seen XTina's new video. But while she does use a lot of pink in her video, there is nothing G or pink about the actually theme.
ETA: But I tend to over analyze things. I think it is an Aquarian fault. So he probably actually meant "videos!" LOL! I'll tell you one thing though, I see ideas for lyrics for a great future song in his rant!

Perhaps so...but my question is about the Chinese tweets scrolling by.... are they also that negative and rude? Just curious.... I think Q3 has a good point there. You might want to use Google translator (very easy) for the tweets you are interested in. Just copy and paste there. If you have Google Chrome, an option to translate from another language shows up at the top of the page. |

Overall, there were two songs that the season 8 star performed (in part alongside contestant Zhang Wei) in “Trespassing” as well as landmark hit “Whataya Want From Me.” Really, the performances are just about as you would expect from a performer of Adam’s caliber: they are fun, exciting, and his style really actually meshes well with some of the bright colors that are present on the familiar “Voice” set. As we mentioned yesterday, we know that this performance really marks a great opportunity for Adam into not just getting his music into China, but allowing people there to see a little bit more of who he actually is. Piracy runs rampant in the country, and if he can find a way to have consumers actually want to support him via buying his material, this could go a long way considering that this is the most populous country in the world. WWFM and Trespassing vids from today follow the article.

I thought he sang "My A" and "no stress in my bag" ... "A" makes more sense than "yay" ... and stress would make a LOT more sense than dress ... ??? He could possibly have sung the above, but Adam is a notorious punster..for a gay guy to have a dress in his bag would be so like Adam to do...if ya wanna censor me, then let's have a *wink-nod*..and he did it with a poker face too! In my world, I'm sticking with 'dress' just because I'm having so much fun with it..LOL.. ;D |
