In the US, ROVE LA will be on Staurday night (Sunday early morning.) Paficic time is 1 a.m. Sunday morning, 10/7. It will be very funny. But depending on how they edit it, it could be very Russell Brand centric. :-/ This would not surprise me in the least. The Fox8 photo gallery had 13 pictures from the show; 11 of them had Russell Brand in them and only 4 had Adam. ETA: I view my post as "managing expectations", a technique I have learned from political debate prep. The importance of the technique has been exhaustively discussed in the media.  |

About Adam's rant... He woke me up at around 5AM. lol Again. And I was wearing earplugs, so I don't know how he managed that (he has superpowers...). But I was wide awake as soon as he posted the first tweet. lol
And after reading it, I was like: :dunno:
I didn't know what he was talking about, so I closed the phone and tried to go back to sleep without my earplugs... only to hear yet another tweet notification. I sat up to read it, and again, I didn't know what to think. I was like: "What is he talking about? He's cuckoo."
And then he tweeted again. By then I was glued to my phone, of course. And I was laughing at the answers in my feed, and at Adam's craziness. I laughed so hard that my boyfriend woke up, and asked me: "Seriously? Adam again?" lmfao Poor baby.
It was my first Adam Twitter rant, so for me it was great. Does he do that often?
Even if I couldn't go back to sleep for 3 hours afterwards, I don't care, it was amazing. :4OMG: :4OMG: :4OMG:

To answer the question, "What did I think of Adam's twitter rant?" First, I think he used the word "video" as a metaphor. Like he (and we) is stuck in a pink video of radio music. Right now, with the teen music taking over the charts (Beiber, Swift, Carly Rae, 1 Direction) he has to be longing for adult Pop. I took everything he said as a longing for a different atmosphere on radio and in Pop music right now.
Some thought he might have actually just seen XTina's new video. But while she does use a lot of pink in her video, there is nothing G or pink about the actually theme.
ETA: But I tend to over analyze things. I think it is an Aquarian fault. So he probably actually meant "videos!" LOL! I'll tell you one thing though, I see ideas for lyrics for a great future song in his rant! YES, mys*&@^#r! That's exactly what I thought, too, especially about Xtina's new vid! Adam Lambert @adamlambert Main concept is: enough w all this cute polka-dot doo-wop beach blanket shit- let's get funky and sexy!!!Adam Lambert @adamlambert But someone's gotta break this Debbie gibson/pretty in pink/saved by the bell design scheme!
