My guess is that the song is being sent to radio without an "official" adds date. And, the truth is, I don't think having an official adds date even matters at this point---at least in terms of what it means for Adam's third single. Radio isn't going to jump all over this, as others have said, it is going to be a long, slow road. Personally, I think the best shot the song has is to get Adam involved in as many Jingle Balls as will have him, and pick up the radio adds that way. But, what do I know? OK so let me get this straight....there really isn't an "official' add date? so no RCA support for a 3rd single? no vid either? just the words vid? Why would he get involved in Jingle Balls??? they aren't playing his single. WOuld you? He did the Jingle Ball for Q102 and both singles went no where. They NEver played either single during the day. I guess I should be happy w Q102 because at least they did play him. ???? If RCA is not supporting this 3rd single, them why should radio? requests???? maybe there isn't enough of us for radio to listen

I say we have to organize and requests specific days/times. organize because randomly requesting is not making headway.
any suggestions..Like fans w 1st initials, guarantee to request on Monday and Wednesday and the second half of the alphabet request Tuesday and Thursday this way we change up the names and then the next week reverse the requests days.
IDK something

IDK something I think that looks too much like an organized campaign. Fans are requesting. But it is going to take something else. I think Jingle Balls can give the song a shot IF a deal is made to get the song added and spun. This is what happened last spring with things like the Fantabulosa radio concert in Chicago---a deal was made to get the song added, and they gave the song a couple spins a day for a few weeks. Is it great? Maybe not. But, I think Trespassing is a much better song than NCOE and perhaps it could catch on with a couple daily spins. IMO, radio is not going to add without some kind of deal in place, whether it is a radio concert or something else. That's also why I don't think an adds date mean much for Adam. I guess there is a real possibility that the song won't go anywhere. I don't know about anyone else, but I am kind of beyond the point of "angst." Right now I am just happy that Adam is proving to be a valuable international player. I am not expecting much from radio (maybe I will be pleasantly surprised) so I am starting to look for good things elsewhere. I am starting to think it may take a whole new era---including looking for promo opportunities in new and different places---for radio to give Adam a chance.

Disappointed but trying not to get discouraged. It's far too early to give up. I don't know the answer but I doubt we fans have control. The label has to spend $$$ to support it and they obviously aren't doing that.
Having said that, I will continue to request & vote and do everything I can to help. Just like I did for BTIKM & NCOE.

Well, the way I see it, RCA passed on the song twice---and the second time, they went as far as to delay the whole process in order to bring in a completely new and different alternative. Seems to me the label has never been exactly excited or confident in this song. I don't get it. But, maybe they are reluctant to put more resources into the project with a song they are unsure of. Don't get me wrong, I am still hoping like heck that this single catches on, and the frustrating thing is that it WOULD catch on if given a chance. But, at the same time, I have, like, zero expectations. I am trying to enjoy all the international attention. Does anybody know what has happened with Z100? Has something changed there, because they used to be a big Idol supporter. I think David Archuleta even debuted his first single on their morning show. Now they are reluctant to even add PP's Home which has had remarkable success.

Or maybe fans could send in fortune cookies reading "play Trespassing" :

Regardless if there's a "real" radio add date, the stations can add anytime before or after if they want to, actually, it really doesn't matter!
Trespassing is the 3rd single, all thanks to RCA's so very "cutting edgy, out-of-the-box, revolutionary" vision and all so "timely and sensible" rollout & promos! But, since all the brilliance can not be undone, then we can not expect TSP to be greeted with a first single treatment either. There's a good chance that TSP won't make a big splash on the US radio at all, other countries? could be a total different story. Like bullsfan said, it might take another era to really crack US radio --- right time and right place all that. But, Adam is an int'l artist and that's one of his greatest advantages!
Daughtry's last album Break the Spell sold 469,000 copies as of Sep. 2012 since its release in Nov. 2011, mostly US sales (based on his int'l chart outlook); Jordin Sparks's Battlefield released in July 2009 sold under 600,000 copies worldwide within 1 year, of which only 177,000 were US sales. Adam is like Jordin, except for his int'l presence is bigger than Jordin. He's estimated to have sold 269,000 copies worldwide during the past 4 months, by "mediatraffic.de" and other unofficial worldwide charts. And, looks like RCA is really pushing int'l promos as well, and trying to get the sales outside the States which they totally will, imo.
The album is 5 months old and the 3rd single "came out" today without a drum roll here at home (splashes else where, I'm sure), but it is what it is and Adam will make the best out of it and tour the hell out of it, and bank it!!
