If this practice is something that Ticketmaster allows artists take advantage of, I would hope Adam would do the same as other artists. I know we are probably talking 3,000 tickets for Bieber vs 400-600 tickets for Adam, but that could be an extra $2,000-$8,000 per concert of pure profit. Over the course of 100 or so concerts, that's a lot of easy money in Adam's pocket. Why give it to the scalpers, when Ticketmaster allows artists to hold out a block of the best seats?

We need to face facts to change them. I've never talked to Adam in person, but denying he wanted pop celebrity is unrealistic. Denying that this era has been a disappointment, that radio is crucial, will get us nowhere. Radio is the reason why this era is a disappointment. Its refusal to play Adam has consequences beyond sales here and now, and will compromise the next tour and the next album. Lower sales here lower sales abroad; see what Shoshanna said about Germany, the fourth largest music market in the world. It's a domino effect, a clusterfuck. He needs a hit, and tsp is his last chance to get one. We need to request and, as someone else said, blow it up online. Something is better than nothing, and so far, other than PLL, its own merits, and the fans, tsp has nothing going for it. Adam HAS pop celebrity ever since Idol! As a matter of fact, he's one of the Pop stars whose celebrity is bigger than his music. In no place have I ever denied that; I pointed out one fact that I'd known for sure via his interviews: he wants longevity for his career (but if I want to go with my perception based on the past years of following him: hell yeah! he wants the real superstardom! but he also knows it's gonna take time for him); nor have I ever encouraged people to just give up on the new single! I stated there's a good possibility that TSP wouldn't make a big splash on the US/UK/DE radio, which was said within the context of leading to my next statement: " If peeps are out looking for some stars with bigger or more instant successes and gratifications to stan, I'm sure there're plenty on both sides of the pond." If anyone had read my posts here in the numbers thread, you would've seen several of them stating this era had been an unfortunately disappointment as far as the sales went, because of the screwed up rollout & promo, single choices and of course, the lack of radio support or label's inability to garner the support. It could've been a great era! But, like all numbers, they're needed to be examined within context. There's no point to compare to what could've been or other Pop stars in the same playing field with bigger success right now. The logical thing to do is to look at those comparable ones in the similar situations: Jordin Sparks and Daughtry, which I used them for examples to show that Adam would be fine with RCA and there would be a next era. The US Pop climate unquestionably influence other western markets, but the major players here are NOT us, the fans! Fan support means the world to the artists on so many levels but we do/can not CHANGE things! We HELP & PUSH things to move in the direction where it's intended!! which I'm sure most of us, if not all of us, are lending the helping hands!

Got an answer back on the email I sent to the livepopbars site when I saw it wasn't working this morning.
"Yes, I got a surprise when I woke up this morning too. I live in Australia, so the timezones are different and it's the weekend here now, so I probably won't have time to see what's wrong for a day or two. I don't think it'll be hard to fix, I've just got other things on for the next couple of days. Thanks for your message, I'll get the site back up as soon as I can so we can keep checking the charts."
So it will be Monday or so before it is working again.
ETA: Got an email that the site is back up.
