Putting request info back on page 1. Regarding Adam playing Freddie -- it was an attempt to have a bit of fun -- no more serious than Adam starring in "Rock Zombies" or a remake of "Robin Hood". Sorry about putting a damper on Freddie. I guess I've thought about it too much. All of us that are already Adam fans would probably love it. I actually think the Zombie movie would be good done with a little camp. Adam in a comedic role would make him a little less scary to some people and Zombies would draw a younger crowd. He has to be the hero, though.

Like all of us, I have my own ideas re what movie Adam would be great in.
First choice would also be his first choice I think....Judas in a spectacular version of JC Superstar.....epic...
Another good role would be in the coming Hunger Games....but if I were director, I would tweak it up if possible and cast him as Finnick. I would make Annie male...This change up would not require any real plot changes and would enance the whole production, in my mind. It is a meatier role than Cinna which is too obvious type-casting I think.
I really wish they had not just produced one of my other favorite musicals, Sweeney Todd, as Adam could kill that role with just little aging technology....
Nobody has ever done a proper bio-flick of Elvis...though i have mixed feelings about that because on the positive...it gives him some amazing music to sing....on the down...all the reasons given re Queen also hold here. If done in a really pomo way much as Velvet Goldmine was done re Bowie, it could be a really really great film and Adam could kill it if he could channel his acting chops to mitigate his singing ones....
Have to get back to rl now.....nice conversation starter noangel..

I was reading through Q3's movie list kind of fast and when I got to No. 5:
5. Anime – the movie (unscheduled): Adam would just need to be voice talent – but it would be “The Voice”. The perfect vehicle for a glam rock soundtrack featuring Adam Lambert music.
I thought it said "Annie" instead of "Anime". I had a moment of panic when I thought Q was actually suggesting he shave his head and play Daddy Warbucks!
Also loved NoAngel's Mother of all Gates essay. My favorite part is at the end when you are unwilling to accept editorial criticism!

I could see Adam in a comedy, his timing is great.
QUESTION for Q3 .. Was Adam going to do an ad for Mac cosmetics?? If so what happened. I read that Gaga is doing one and also read a while back, that a Mac agent said something like Adam fans will be very happy.. Hmm .

Q3 and NoAngel - You both have great entries today, as usual. Adam and this place have me feeling really happy!
Having perused the book thread here, I know several have read the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. There has been talk for years about who could play the role of Jamie Fraser - tall, handsome hero from the 18th century. I have to admit the thought crossed my mind - Adam as Jamie... Letting his hair go naturally curly and red and long, using his pretty-darn-good Scottish accent... Whattaya think?

*sneeks into thread* *looks around furtively* I'm not really here, y'all, (I'm in disguise--shhhhhhh!), it's my first anniversary and I'm gonna hang with the hubby and then go to a nice dinner and the SCISSOR SISTERS (!!!) concert tonight (HOORAY!!!), but I saw Q3 posted my merry man in tights, and I couldn't resist. Damn, Q3, I know you were joking (dammit) but I swear that Errol Flynn Robin Hood was my FAVORITE MOVIE when I was little (I know, I'm like 103, not 31). Yes it was hokey and campy and ridic, but damn that man had charm! "You speak treason!" "Fluently." Such a little five year old crush. I would love--LOVE--to see Adam in exactly this role with exactly this charming, lighthearted, heartfelt, campy script. That would probably make my life. So stop teasing, woman. Oh, and I second (third, fourth, fifth?) JCS, but I know Q3 didn't mean it as that kind of list (only, dammit, Robin belongs on that kind of list). (By the way, a few choice Errol Flynn quotes: “I had now made about 45 pictures, but what had I become? I knew all too well: a phallic symbol. All over the world I was, as a name and personality, equated with sex.” “The public has always expected me to be a playboy, and a decent chap never lets his public down.”)ETA: LOL:

Mszue, I know I'm on the residual effects of a night of tequila and little sleep and it's been a few months since I read the book, but for the life of me, I can't visualize who Finnick and Annie are. LOL, about the Rock Zombies, Q3. We were having a discussion at dinner last night how zombies are going to be the new vampires (which, of course, have been done to death ... erm, or the un-death as the case may be :-/) ETA: Loves me some Errol Flynn, MWP; like Cary Grant, gorgeous, funny, charming, self-deprecating – could do drama or comedy. Yep, Adam fits all of the above.
