Did anyone save that pic of Katri and Sauli in the Hollywood Hills? If so, would you mind reposting it? Thanks! Tried to go back and find it and looked in 2 threads with no luck! I think this is a backdrop. Unless they are standing on a huge hill that makes them as tall as that house on the left, this shot would be next to impossible to get.

Mszue, I know I'm on the residual effects of a night of tequila and little sleep and it's been a few months since I read the book, but for the life of me, I can't visualize who Finnick and Annie are. LOL, about the Rock Zombies, Q3. We were having a discussion at dinner last night how zombies are going to be the new vampires (which, of course, have been done to death ... erm, or the un-death as the case may be :-/) ETA: Loves me some Errol Flynn, MWP; like Cary Grant, gorgeous, funny, charming, self-deprecating – could do drama or comedy. Yep, Adam fits all of the above. Finnick is the gorgeous --forget what they called them--fighter from another district that became an ally of katnis and Peeta....he was initially somewhat ignored because he was so perfectly handsome and they could not figure out why he was to be trusted and why the capital had him so under control. It is not till the 3rd book it becomes clear that he is controlled through his intense love for Annie....she is not a fully developed character..just the tool with which Finnick is controlled.....remember him...he is a hero but the story line could adapt easily to a male 'annie'....actually, to bring rl in, cheeks would actually work as annie very easily.... not that I would wish that on adam at all....just a typecasting note.....

I think I said this once, ages ago, maybe even on PF, but a lot of what I love about Adam reminds me of Cary Grant (and Flynn, too) which is the ability to be goofy and sexy at the same time. Give me a goofy, sexy man and you've won my heart!

Someone on another forum said she new that spot having lived in the neighbourhood earlier. It is a curb or did she say curve? of a street, not a private property. Not far away from those shops were the boys were seen shopping drinks & magazines before the Bora Bora trip. But I dunno and frankly, don't care either . They have camera with them as Katri had their feet photographed on Frank Sinatra's star while they were checking places a day or two ago. They are going to go set their own star on Walk of Fame in the first Roadshow vid.

Putting request info back on page 1. Regarding Adam playing Freddie -- it was an attempt to have a bit of fun -- no more serious than Adam starring in "Rock Zombies" or a remake of "Robin Hood". Sorry about putting a damper on Freddie. I guess I've thought about it too much. All of us that are already Adam fans would probably love it. I actually think the Zombie movie would be good done with a little camp. Adam in a comedic role would make him a little less scary to some people and Zombies would draw a younger crowd. He has to be the hero, though. NP --- Just wanted to make sure that no one thought I was recommending any of that as career advice -- I was not. But your post made me start to think realistically about the possibility. First, of all, Adam will not be asked to do this film and, if he should say. "no" because it would not fit with his current career path and this is not the best showcase for his talent. BUT if Adam did get the opportunity to play Freddie and if he agreed to do it (I doubt he would) -- I think that Queen fans would be fine with it. There was always a disconnect between the fans of the band/music and the fans of Freddie -- which turned into a chasm after the Coronation Street parody in the States. I am convinced that Adam would end up with at least a hit album from it. I am not as sure this movie will do well no matter who is in it. Vocally, Adam would have a little trouble matching Freddie's lower register, but we know he would kill on these songs. There would be no complaint about the vocals. Adam is the only prominent young white male pop singer who has a range comparable to Freddie's. Screen presence -- a must. The DVD convinces me that he can command attention in performance on film -- essential for pulling off the performance scenes. Inexperienced actor: He really has some experience. And, unlike stage performances, there are multiple takes in a film and it is done scene-by-scene. With an acting coach, I think he could pull it off. (Adam does seem to know how to take direction.) The two hardest parts of portraying Freddy, would be easy for Adam -- 1. His close personal relationship with Mary Austin and later Barbara Valentin -- while he was involved in long term sexual relationships with men. 2. The dichotomy of Freddie theatrical stage presence and his quiet personal life. Freddie was very shy. I am having a very hard time seeing SBC doing the stage performances without making them almost a parody, pulling of the deep friendship, romantic with Mary Austin ("Love of my Life") and concurrent long-term sexual relationships with men, and the real Freddie who was shy.

It would have been curb I have a friend who lives at the foot of the hills and near this one corner where he said people take pics all the time, because you can get a perfect view of the sign behind you. They have to stand in the middle of the street to do it, however, so it gets a bit crazy because it's off a main drag (Gower). This doesn't look like the location as I remember it though. There was originally speculation that it was taken at Adam's place, which I think is unlikely. It is really tough to get low enough so the whole sign is in frame and the correct angle.

But look at the lighting on them - it's bright sunshine filtered through tree leaves, leaving dappled shadows on their faces. If it was a backdrop, the light would be more even. (Unless someone has an entire studio set up to replicate this effect; in which case, why don't they do something more useful with their time?)
Sorry to set off the waffle cravings, but I have no sympathy; I pretty much want waffles all the time!
