It would have been curb  I have a friend who lives at the foot of the hills and near this one corner where he said people take pics all the time, because you can get a perfect view of the sign behind you. They have to stand in the middle of the street to do it, however, so it gets a bit crazy because it's off a main drag (Gower). This doesn't look like the location as I remember it though. There was originally speculation that it was taken at Adam's place, which I think is unlikely. It is really tough to get low enough so the whole sign is in frame and the correct angle. Well yes, and it is just a pic they wanted us in Finland to see  . People have told Katri in comments to her blog about the speculations of it having been taken at Adam's place. |

But look at the lighting on them - it's bright sunshine filtered through tree leaves, leaving dappled shadows on their faces. If it was a backdrop, the light would be more even. (Unless someone has an entire studio set up to replicate this effect; in which case, why don't they do something more useful with their time?) Sorry to set off the waffle cravings, but I have no sympathy; I pretty much want waffles all the time! Good point about the leaves and the shadows. I tend to think it's not photoshopped. They are just right in front of the camera. Perspective can play weird tricks on you! They probably are smart enough to not take pic in front of Adam's house though!  |

Someone on another forum said she new that spot having lived in the neighbourhood earlier. It is a curb or did she say curve? of a street, not a private property. Not far away from those shops were the boys were seen shopping drinks & magazines before the Bora Bora trip. But I dunno and frankly, don't care either . They have camera with them as Katri had their feet photographed on Frank Sinatra's star while they were checking places a day or two ago. They are going to go set their own star on Walk of Fame in the first Roadshow vid. This photo appears to be taken from a public street. The white house with the tall trees in the background is at the top of a ridge far below the HWOOD sign which is on the hills far beyond the ridge. That is why the perspective on the sign is so odd and it looks like there are green trees on the top of the Hollywood Hills -- there are not. Two different hills. I strongly doubt Adam lives near where this photo was taken -- and that is surely not from his street. |

Hello to all the lovely Atopians. My computer skills are not great so I will be primarily "lurking" (maybe someday I will learn how to post pics,etc.) I am posting today as I don't recall anyone ever mentioning that Disney purchased the Queen songbook a number of years ago. I don't recall which movie studio is making the movie about Freddie.
I am a big Adam fan ... he is simplicity and complexity in artistry and humanity ... a gift ...
