Adam Lambert to Release Trespassing Remix EP on October 16th
ADAM LAMBERT TO RELEASE TRESPASSING REMIX EP ON OCTOBER 16TH
(Los Angeles, CA) – Adam Lambert has announced October 16th as the release date for the TRESPASSING EP on 19 Recordings / RCA Records. "Trespassing" is the third single taken from Lambert's sophomore album of the same name. Hailed by Rolling Stone as "the great pop album everybody was hoping Adam Lambert would make," Trespassing debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 charts.
Co-written by Lambert & chart-topping producer/rapper/writer Pharrell Williams, Billboard magazine calls "Trespassing" a "startling, stomping, altogether tremendous (song), in which Lambert snarls 'Wait 'til you get a load of me' over a beat that Michael Jackson would have loved."
The TRESPASSING EP will be available at all digital retailers as well as through www.AdamOfficial.com. A physical version will be available exclusively on www.AdamOfficial.com later this year. Fans who pre-order the physical version will still get the digital version on street date. Pre-orders are available immediately.
Lambert’s debut album For Your Entertainment has sold nearly 2 million copies worldwide. Lambert was nominated for a Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for “Whataya Want From Me” in 2010. This summer Lambert sang lead vocals with Queen in select European & UK markets, having previously shared the stage with the band for the finale of the MTV European Music Awards when they were being honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Most recently, Lambert was the sole Westerner invited to perform on the finale of The Voice China to an audience of 500 Million viewers.

Whoa, are we having déjà vu? Adam Lambert released his Trespassing remix cover art today (the EP will be available to purchase October 16 and pre-orders are being accepted now), but we were doing some serious double takes when we first peeped this image. Adam's silhouette stands against a golden-yellow background with a wide-brimmed Stetson hat that casts an aura of mystery (and '90s throwback style) over Glambert's entire look—especially paired with those pitch-black aviators. We also have a LOVELY eyeful of supple black leather thanks to his high-collar, asymmetrical jacket (with the collar folded down), but it's all a little too familiar for our taste. We racked our brains and—A HA!—FINALLY remembered what this reminds us of... Ms. Azealia Banks!
I know, I know, you're thinking, "Whaaaa? How do Adam and Azealia look ANYTHING alike?" But seriously, just peep the cover art from her 1991 EP (above) and tell us how they don't look alike.

Last month Adam Lambert announced that the next single off Trespassing would be the chart-topping album’s Pharrell Williams-produced title song, and now we have artwork for the full EP. That’s right — EP. The “Trespassing” release will come with several remixes, including ones by Benny Benassi, Zak Waters and vAnity mAchine. Also included will be mixes of his latest album’s previous singles “Never Close Our Eyes” and “Better Than I Know Myself.”

Adam Lambert's "Trespassing" Remix EP Coming October 16
Adam Lambert is set to release a new EP featuring remixes of four songs from his Trespassing album.
There will be eight tracks in all on the new disc, including four versions of "Trespassing," two of "Never Close Our Eyes," and one each of "Better than I Know Myself" and "Pop That Lock." A downloadable version of the EP will be available at all digital retailers on October 16 with a physical copy planned for some time later this year. Pre-orders are available now.
