About the VVJ's tweet about 2 new countries and cannot wait for 2013... I think it is possible that she means South Africa and China (or some country we have not heard plans of). She knew about Australia and some other gigs, maybe these plans with SA &C were now confirmed. She can still expect the new year with more concerts... And countries that SHE has never visited before, not necessarily new to Adam. But South Africa and the rumored China Gig are this year. I'd bet on something else coming up for 2013. Maybe South America? They've been begging for him forever. And then again, it could be Canada...which would be new to the VJ's. I really want it to be New York. That's another country, isn't it??

I think tour details may be starting to form. Would not be surprised to see the international leg start first.

Sorry but I disagree. These countries pay big bucks to get their stars. China is experiencing over the top wealth right now. I would be shocked if Adam didn't get around a million. . Agree... in general all engagements in Asia are very lucrative and something on this scale was extremely well compensated IMO. Also dont forget he had two TV shows, so i am thinking that 1 mil is very very possible. Re "2 new countries": I have to assume that VJJs can distinguish between 2012 and 2013. So looks like there are international concert plans for 2013 and i hope she was talking about Adam. IDK if their other group performs overseas.. Please allow me to do some maths: *Show advertising income few weeks before final was 16 M RMB, about 2,5 M$ for one show. *Let's assume that the main income is advertising. *Let's also assume that Voice final -prices for advertisers are double, and more air time, so income would be four times bigger: 10M$. And now I am thinking out loud: I don't believe they would pay 10% of brutto income to one performer for 1 solo and 1 duet. But if the practice is to pay, then certainly they can have afforded for substantial compensation. If somebody have a facts or educated guesses of practices, please share your estimation. I am curious .

I think tour details may be starting to form. Would not be surprised to see the international leg start first. Our winter is South American summer....nice place for him to kick it off. I hope he doesn't do Europe in the freezing cold again!! I wasn't there..but I heard the lines were long at some venues...and the weather so bad that people couldn't get from place to place. "Selfish" cuz I am def going to Europe shows this time!

I could use some clearer instructions on the International Unistar 99.5 in terms of exactly how to vote. I don't understand the buttons.

This is how much advertisers pay for a 15 second spot on the show. These figures have nothing to do with Adam or any of the other guest performers on The Voice-China this season. My guess is all his expenses were covered, as far as travel and performance set up. Beyond that, it was an EXCELLENT promo opportunity. Since we saw estimates that 300-500 million viewers watched this finale, the promo was "worth" a million plus dollars! Sorry but I disagree. These countries pay big bucks to get their stars. China is experiencing over the top wealth right now. I would be shocked if Adam didn't get around a million. The advertisers are PAYING The Voice for these 15 second spots, not the other way around. If we are looking at the advertising figures as a model, (which I'm not sure why we are) that would mean Adam PAID a few million to be on the show! Since that is illogical in every way, it is logical to believe this was an excellent promo opportunity where Adam's expenses were well covered. The Voice-China was already predicted to have huge viewer numbers. They didn't need to pay Adam to come in and boost the numbers. His appearance wasn't advertised for weeks as the main draw. The show and its contestants were the main draw. Even at the height of Idol viewership, the show didn't pay performers to come on the show and perform. That's not how these things work. AI was a prime promo opportunity on the #1 show in the US. Adam's performance was on a show that was going to get 300-500 million viewers, whether they had him on there or not. How much did Adam get for the talk show he was on? How much did he get paid for the private fan party? Why are we thinking that Adam is all of a sudden being paid millions for promo opportunities? Just because it was in China?
