Looooved it ... well no action without reaction .... J .. is perfect ... on twitter right now ... beleibers have a right to love their idol too I think. so what do we do now ? give up ?? we are no longer trending . But we DID trend! There is no "giving up" with twitter IMO. It is too big. And even if we could move it, what for? I love spontanous[?] trends like these, because they seem genuine. I prefer genuine over manufactured and pushed. I understand concerted trends for a specific reason, but I love trends emerging out of love. |

I think tour details may be starting to form. Would not be surprised to see the international leg start first. Our winter is South American summer....nice place for him to kick it off. I hope he doesn't do Europe in the freezing cold again!! I wasn't there..but I heard the lines were long at some venues...and the weather so bad that people couldn't get from place to place. "Selfish" cuz I am def going to Europe shows this time! Yes! Scandinavia in November and the So Pacific in Sept was just ridiculous! Of course, Finland in Nov did lead to Sauli, so defintiely worth the freezing weather! :wub: |

I emailed Jayn, the DJ who really likes Adam, to request Trespassing and ask if they will play it, and didn't get a response which is unusual since she's replied before when I've written to thank her for playing NCOE. :-/ There's only 1 comment and not that many tweets or likes.. Please go and tweet the link or leave a comment.  They've said before that Adam mentions always get the most clicks, so they do notice these things. They were the first to play NCOE, but now I don't think they're playing anything of his.. :( |

Sorry but I disagree. These countries pay big bucks to get their stars. China is experiencing over the top wealth right now. I would be shocked if Adam didn't get around a million. The advertisers are PAYING The Voice for these 15 second spots, not the other way around. If we are looking at the advertising figures as a model, (which I'm not sure why we are) that would mean Adam PAID a few million to be on the show! Since that is illogical in every way, it is logical to believe this was an excellent promo opportunity where Adam's expenses were well covered. The Voice-China was already predicted to have huge viewer numbers. They didn't need to pay Adam to come in and boost the numbers. His appearance wasn't advertised for weeks as the main draw. The show and its contestants were the main draw. Even at the height of Idol viewership, the show didn't pay performers to come on the show and perform. That's not how these things work. AI was a prime promo opportunity on the #1 show in the US. Adam's performance was on a show that was going to get 300-500 million viewers, whether they had him on there or not. How much did Adam get for the talk show he was on? How much did he get paid for the private fan party? Why are we thinking that Adam is all of a sudden being paid millions for promo opportunities? Just because it was in China? I think I started this so jumping back in. I said this is a million dollar gig, not because Adam would be making that amount but because that's what he/Sony would have had to spend if he had purchased the same amount of time to advertise himself. I think somebody upstream said it as the gig was "worth" a million and that's along what I meant. |
