Isn't Isaac's new gig with Duff McKagan's band "Loaded." It seems Isaac has played for him for years. I remember once Duff and his band came to Austin and Isaac was with them. I wish I could have gone but it was part of SXSW and you needed a pass to the whole festival.
Good luck to Isaac and welcome Fabian.

Some more background on the China shows. Rules imposed from this year by the State administration of radio, film, and television (Sarft) mean 34 satellite channels can each broadcast a maximum of two entertainment shows a week, with no more than 90 minutes on any day.www.moneyshow.com/investing/article/1/TheNational-29118/Big-Bucks-in-China-as-Reality-Bites/So the TV show that Adam taped for and which is on this week is a big deal for it's station and we've already said it's one of the most watched. Now on Voice of China we don't know what he was paid but we can guess what the exposure was worth. This article was posted in late August over a month before the final. So far the show is proving so successful that advertising slots have sold for Rmb360,000 ($56,600) for 15 seconds – generating up to Rmb16 million a week for the one-hour show. The slots are getting more expensive every week, says Economic Observer. “Every advertiser desperately wants to squeeze in. The cost has now risen to Rmb400,000 for 15 seconds,” says Cheng Wei, a producer at Zhejiang Satellite TV.www.weekinchina.com/msingle/?mpage=15278A month ago advertisers were paying $60,000 for 15 seconds, let's round it up and say $250,000 per minute. So it wasn't just a well paying gig, it was a million dollar gig.

Are we talking about how much his appearance at The Voice was worth in terms of publicity, or are we talking about how much Adam and his team were paid? :dunno:

I don't think I understand. Are we talking about how much his appearance at The Voice was worth in terms of publicity, or are we talking about how much Adam and his team were paid? The cost of advertising generally reflects the popular/viewership of the program; so in this case, high cost = high viewership = high exposure. Jablea states that she doesn't know how much he was paid.
